I would give zero stars based on my last visit but unable too. My family of 5 came in last Friday night to let our kids spend their report card money. My son found some Nike basketballs on the top shelf of an isle marked $4.99, he chose one and we took it to checkout. Once rang in I was given a total of $32 something, I told the cashier that it is market for $4.99 along with about 20 others on the same shelf. Oh ok he said, had someone verify it. I also showed him the photos I took too(which I still have). He then said, I can't change it but my manager will, he'll honor the price, we just have to wait for him. We waited! Then he tells the manager what happened, then manager says to me "no that's not the price, that's where the cups were, I can give it to u for 50% off"! I say "you aren't going to honor the price tagged price like I was told". "No u should have read the tag" the manager replies to me. I said "well we aren't buying anything here tonight", he lost sales from both my kids that night. And my son who is 8 didn't get his gift he wanted with his report card money and got to see first hand how rude some people are. Having had to explain to my son why he couldn't get the ball that he found for that price and the manger wouldn't sell it to us for that price as marked, has gotten him so confused, frustrated, and mad. Teaching children about money and price tags and how to spend their money is a very valuable lesson and this is unfortunately not a store we will shop at in the future to do so. The manager should have done the right thing!! He obviously knew cups were moved, it his job to make sure things are moved and tagged correctly not the customers! Unbelievable treatment from a manager! He didn't...
Read moreWent in the Melbourne store to purchase a weighted vest. I was ignored by a guy who was stocking and another employee who was assembling a bike. I asked the one who was stocking for help because the price was not listed on the two different ones they had. He couldn’t stop stocking to come answer my question, he called on his radio for help. The guy assembling the bike yelled out “Do you need help?” I said yes I need to know the prices of these items. He yelled back, I’ll be over when im done…. I waited another 10 minutes all while the guy stocking and the bicycle assembly guy looked up at me but couldn’t be bothered to help me. This did give me time to look up similar products on Amazon and buy one. Even as I was walking out neither employee bothered to ask if they could help. Store was almost empty, at this rate this store should be a Spirit...
Read moreI stood around for 10 minutes in the shoe department with no one in sight to offer to help along with a bunch of other people that also gave up and left. I was planning to buy the Asics Novablast 5s in an 11 so I already knew exactly what I needed.
All I should have had to do was walk in, get the shoes and check out. But you need scan the shoe on a tablet and have an associate go back and get them verses just having some available to pick up and buy like every other place that sells shoes. No one ever came, so I guess I'm buying them on Amazon like I probably should have in the first place and saved myself the time, fuel and...
