I lost my way for a short time last night after my children and I exited a restaurant to go back to our car and the trolley driver let me ride in the trolley to my destination. I offered to pay the monetary cost of the ride but the driver said it wasn't necessary. It may have been done out of compassion. There are dangerous areas and people downtown. Since I am not from Memphis, I asked questions about how to get to places, surprisingly they even give me more details than I’ve read online. The cost is not expensive: about $1 the ride, still people complains. There is an app you can buy the tickets and scan them with the machines installed in the trolleys, if you forgot cash.
