This location is a nice place to shop. The employees are friendly and helpful, and there is a wide variety of craft supplies to choose from. The store is somewhat small, but it is full of crafting supplies from paper to yarn to everything in between. I've always found the store well organized, and I have never had difficulty finding what I am looking for. Michael's is good about putting items on sale, and if you join their rewards program, they send coupons directly to your inbox. Coupons can also be found on your Rewards page on their website, making them easy to apply to online orders. BEWARE, however, this location cancels the in store Sunday Makebreak classes without warning, when they offer them at all, apparently because no one is available to teach. I'm giving this location a 1 star rating for the confusion surrounding their Sunday Makebreak events, and subtracting it from a 5 star rating for the store as a craft shopping destination overall, giving this location a 4 star...
Read moreJudging by all the positive reviews on here I must have picked the wrong day to shop, really impatient cashiers that didn't want to tell me where things were located and then we're impatient with my questions, acted like they couldn't wait to get rid of me. Really lousy attitudes from those two, I should have got their names and posted them on here but instead of doing that I'll just post that it was in the middle of the afternoon around 3:00, what I find funny is the store was practically empty and they were hardly any customers there and yet they still could not be bothered to help me out. But then again this is Memphis and you can't even shop in a hobby store without stupid people with terrible attitudes ruining your day. Just be on the lookout if you don't know exactly what you want when you enter this store, they sure don't want to help you...
Read moreWe recently moved to TN and the city we moved to does not have a Michael's. We took a trip to Bartlette/ Memphis and stopped at this Michael's. This has always been one of our favorite craft stores so were really happy to stop here and shop. This is a nice store and the ladies that were working were si nice. The one that checked us out (think her name is Valerie) was so nice and pleasant. Cathy. B was super nice. She greeted us as we went in and made sure we could get her if we needed help. We talked to her again on the way out. She is one very nice employee. The one thing we did notice is some of the shelves were kind of bare but that seems to be the norm at stores in TN. This Michael's is one we would recommend stopping at. It has a lot more than just...
