Regalia Shopping Center — Attraction in Memphis

Boyfriend and I stopped in to dinner at Salsa - my first time, and his first time in quite a while. The spinach queso is amazing! I probably ate half of it before he even arrived, it was so good. My quesadilla was superb. I am so sensitive to onions I might as well be allergic, and our server made absolute sure, between her order and conversation with the kitchen, that no onions touched my food even though I ordered fajita chicken in my quesadilla. We've had the Sunday brunch a couple of times and unfortunately, it wasn't as good as it has been in the past. What they called as prime rib was actually eye of the round. The oysters were ok but they had not restocked the table. The food items were not labeled and it became a guessing game as to what you were choosing. I was at Boggs and Barley and it is reminiscent of the past years when they had REAL BARS known as a gentleman's bar! Lots of woodwork, kegs and bottles. A couple of private rooms with TV's available. The staff is very attentive, food is awesome and competitively priced. Only negative... need more cloth materials to help absorb the sound!! My ears were ringing hours after I got home. This was just due to people talking... no music...
