This restaurant is very impressive it’s located inside the Memphian Hotel It gives you a modern day version of Molly Fontaine vibe but way better!! The staff was beyond nice Dalton was super dope he was very in tune with what we wanted and we really didn’t have to wait for anything. The atmosphere is to die for everywhere you turn it something different or something you would never think you would see you in 1 million years my favorite thing was the monkeys crawling on the wall Super cute. The drinks Were very tasty everyone was very pleased. Far as the menu it’s a small one so my suggestion is to take a look at the menu if you don’t see something that you want you probably want to eat first and then come Here to end your night with a bang!! We ended up getting the steak flatbread with the peach’s and it was really good do not be afraid of the peaches!! And my friend had the steak with the veggies and she liked it she stated that they could’ve seared it just a few seconds longer and need a little bit more vinaigrette on her veggies overall definitely five stars I very impressed with establishment will definitely be coming back for sure!! Great job Memphian I love it!!

I can't even bring myself to give this place one star, is there any way to give negative stars to the "Welcome Team" at the elevator?. Last night was about the worst experience we've ever had at a bar/ restaurant...not that we hang out in a lot of "bars". We arrived for our reservation, dressed up, since we'd read about their dress code, three septuagenarians ready for a lovely evening, celebrating 2 birthdays. Two in the group had their driver's licenses. Since my husband drove and we were all dressed up, I took only a small dressy bag... no driver's license. We were not allowed in because we couldn't prove I was over 21. The young woman at the elevator seemed to take a little delight in telling us we couldn't go up...Tennessee law she smuggly said. I thought this was also a restaurant and I've not been asked for ID in a restaurant in over 50 years. She offered to call the manger who was equally arrogant. I will never go back to this place because I've never been treated with such "attitude". We left there and went to Tsumani where we were warmly greeted, served drinks and small plates. Who needs a place like The Tiger and Peacock. Not me that's for sure.

I do not understand the bad reviews at all. We visited on a Sunday evening, I dressed up because it seemed like a fancy place, but it didn’t seem like anyone cared. There were people there who were dressed very casually (maybe they did away with the dress code?). But every bit of it, from the speakeasy vibe of the elevator ride to the decor and menu contributed to a really magical experience! Honestly worth dressing up for, if they still require it. The cocktail menu is zodiac themed and the decor has “down the rabbit hole” vibes. Low lighting, velvet couches, and unique cocktails - what more could you want! Our bartender (Fred) was an absolute dream and answered all our questions to help us pick perfect cocktails. Personally recommend the Taurus (manhattan-esque) and the Capricorn (grapefruit martini). We also enjoyed the Aquarius, but personally I think it would be better with Mezcal. The bar food is limited, but we enjoyed the flatbread and chicken shawarma. Absolutely would go back!

I chose to celebrate my 50th birthday at Tiger & Peacock inside The Memphian Hotel, and overall it was one of the best birthdays of my life.

From the very beginning, the service stood out. The front desk receptionist (unfortunately, I don't remember her name) was wonderful—she accommodated an early check-in even though the hotel was fully booked, which started the evening on a high note. At Tiger & Peacock, Sybil on the first floor, greeted me with warmth and professionalism that truly reflected Marriott’s hospitality standard and Jalissa on the 7th floor welcomed me with a beautiful smile and kind demeanor that immediately made me feel celebrated. Alexis “Lexi Pooh”, one of my personal servers, went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable, having fun, and well taken care of—her kindness and attentiveness were unforgettable. Wyatt, the bartender, kept the drinks flowing perfectly and made sure everything was on point. These individuals truly embodied Marriott hospitality and made me feel celebrated. We spent over $3,500 on this event, and their service made it worthwhile.

Unfortunately, the experience was overshadowed by the night shift manager, whose behavior was the opposite of welcoming. She unnecessarily restricted where my family could sit, stopped my mother-in-law from enjoying outdoor seating, and dismissed our music requests. While we were hoping for lively, fun music to match the celebration, she reluctantly played a couple of songs and then abruptly cut one off mid-way, telling my guest flatly that she had “turned it off.” Worse still, she was very dismissive—as if she was irritated and we were a major inconvenience to her. Her actions and demeanor were even apparent to her own team members. It almost felt as though we were being treated as inferior and not truly welcomed. Several of my family members—including my mother-in-law and daughter—felt she was giving off the vibe of “I’m sick of these Black people.” That perception was deeply hurtful and absolutely not what anyone should feel during a milestone celebration at a Marriott property.

Despite this, my guests still had an amazing time thanks to the positive energy we created and the outstanding efforts of the rest of the team. But I cannot overlook how one manager’s poor behavior and lack of inclusiveness left a lasting negative impression.

Overall: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for the incredible staff—front desk, Sybil, Jalissa, Lexi Pooh, and Wyatt. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for the rooftop atmosphere and the joy my guests and I created. ⭐️ for the night shift manager, whose dismissive and unprofessional attitude did not reflect Marriott values.

This birthday will still be remembered fondly because of the amazing employees who shined. However, I sincerely hope management addresses these issues, and that this feedback is taken seriously—because no guest should ever feel singled out, disrespected, or made to feel unwelcome at...

This is an excellent spot to have a birthday celebration. The staff, starting from the individual at the entrance to the bartender Josh, is incredibly amiable. As soon as we entered, we were greeted with warm smiles and a genuine sense of hospitality. The ambiance of this place is just perfect for a memorable celebration.

The interior is tastefully decorated with elegant lighting and stylish furniture. The music playing in the background adds a lively touch to the atmosphere without overpowering conversations. The attention to detail is evident in every corner, creating a cozy and inviting environment.

Our experience with the staff has been exceptional. From the moment we made our reservation, they were attentive to our requests and made sure everything was in place for the celebration. As we settled into our seats, Josh, the bartender, approached us with a friendly demeanor, eager to cater to our drink preferences.

Josh's knowledge of mixology is truly impressive. He effortlessly crafted unique and delicious cocktails that pleased not only our taste buds but also our eyes. His passion for his craft was evident as he explained the ingredients and the inspiration behind each creation. The drinks were not only refreshing but also beautifully presented, enhancing the overall experience.

Throughout the evening, the rest of the staff continued to provide impeccable service. Definitely we will...

So. First time at Tiger and Peacock and we walked away disappointed.

The vibe is fantastic. Our server was very nice and attentive. Cocktails were pretty good too…

But the food… we only ordered 2 things, so take it with a grain of salt…

First, the fry machine was broken, so that was even an option…

So we first ordered the Nuts & Olives, which comes with Marcona Almonds and Rosemary Cashews. The dish arrived and the cashews were just plain cashews… When we addressed this with our server, she unintentionally threw the kitchen staff under bus by saying they do what they want and don’t always deliver what’s on the menu. Strange. But she got it taken care of and the replacement rosemary cashews brought out were great.

Next was the Caramelized Onion and Chive Dip with Crudite and Chips. I don’t know what you might picture in your head when reading that description, but what arrived was disappointing. It was basically Ruffles and French onion dip with a lump of cold caramelized onion with 2 carrot sticks and 2 celery sticks (like you get when you order wings from wherever you get dingy wings from). We ate it, but it didn’t feel worthy of that place.

Seems like those are little things, but when measured against the great vibe and atmosphere, you might expect a little more from the food. The devil is in the details. The little things matter. This place should be...
