Read moreWhat an amazing find! We did not wake up that day and expect to go to a candy store. But when we found this place, we were ready for whatever they had! We filled our baskets with all sorts of Novelty Candies. I am a HUGE fan of grape big league chew bubble gum. I could not find it anywhere. The store was pretty packed and I turned to my husband and said, I can't believe they have ALL THIS CANDY and no big league chew. Apparently a staff member heard me and happily directed me to the register where the bubble gum was kept. I did not see it my first few passes, as there was quite a line at the registers. I was so happy. I filled my basket up with grape big league chew. We got Pixie sticks, Gummy Pizza, Race car chocolate, watermelon sour strips, and it goes on and on and on. What a great time here! Victor was our cashier and he was super friendly. We walked out paying a small fortune but it...
Read moreI've shopped here many times for special occasions and have always been offered gift wrapping or in the least a shopping bag with tissue and ribbon. All employees have always been superkind.... in the past. Today I spent $25 in candy for a baby shower and asked if they can fancy up the shopping bag for my gifts. The older woman at the counter said she wasn't sure if they can offer that at all. She went to the gift wrapping counter and put two items in a tiny clear bag and said there were no bags to fit my other items. I asked if she can give me a plain shopping bag like any paying customer receives and she reluctantly gave me one. I asked why they offer gift wrapping or at least a bit of curled ribbon on a shopping bag for some and not for me. She said that policies change and that they cannot offer that to me. Very disappointing. This is my last visit to the...
