PLAY THESE ROOMS! My fiancé and I had the pleasure of playing 5 rooms in 3 locations with this wonderful company and we could not be happier. The rooms are unique in set design as well as puzzle integration and is extremely entertaining start to finish. We only planned to play 2 rooms with Clue Carré in Metaire, but ended up having an out of this world amazing game master, Dalton, who made our experience so much fun we booked the third room right after we got done with our first game. As outstanding as the rooms were, Dalton was the real MVP here and not only made our time at this location fun, but made our whole trip a memorable experience. The Game Museum is defiantly my favorite and a must for any gamers out there. Out of the 134 games my fiancé and I have played, Dalton quickly proved to be a cut above the rest as a game master and secured a place high on our list of favorite game masters. All the employees we encountered while playing at all 3 of their locations seemed to be cut from the cloth and it shows just how great this company is. Dalton was helpful and answered every question we had before we started all while having a smile that said he couldn’t be happier to help us have a great time. Dalton talked to us after The Sheriff’s Office and recommended other games he thought we would enjoy based on what he learned about us and was spot on with every game he said we might like. This company values its customers and we will defiantly be recommending them to all our enthusiast friends and be back to play with them again. I wish we had gotten the chance to meet the owner before leaving to tell her to her face how much fun we had and how outstanding her rooms and employees are. This is what an escape room company is supposed to look like. My only disappointment is that I can’t give them 6 stars because they deserve it. The rooms are clean, well maintained, and just plain fun. Seriously, you can’t go wrong...
Read moreThis was my first real escape room, and I loved it! My party (all 18-21 years old, some newbies and some escape room experts) did The Game Museum, and it was phenomenal. I won't go into detail to avoid spoilers, but I will say that it was laid out very, very well. There was almost never a time where we didn't know what we were supposed to work on next.
They had a Boogie Board to take notes on that was very convenient, and there was enough space to put clues to the solved puzzles out of the way. There was plenty of light, and the AC was located in the room in case we wanted to change the temperature. (We did get a long and amusing set of instructions, as apparently many people believe that unplugging the AC or changing the temperature is part of the room. It is not. Suffering in the New Orleans heat is not a requirement.)
As this was my first escape room, I was initially skeptical that anything that took a single hour was worth $30 each, but after completing The Game Museum (oh, yes, we escaped!), I'll definitely be returning to complete the others! It was initially unsettling to see that it was a house that was converted into an escape room (I'd feel pretty dumb if I was killed by paying someone to lock me up in their house), but it was very nice, and they didn't actually lock us in there. They closed the door that we came in from, and the escape door was just a different door, so the chances of being axe-murdered seemed relatively low. (As you may have guessed, we all survived.) Plus, the woman working was incredibly nice. We all loved her.
The more experienced members of our party also loved it, and declared it a good, balanced game. They'll have to do the rest alone, though, because I have no intentions of waiting until they next come into town to...
Read moreI always try to leave good reviews where credit is due and shout-out friendly workers and this place has definitely earned it! The fact that all games are private no matter the number of players and you don’t have to pay an extra fee was a big factor in us choosing this escape room venue. The game was fun and enticing. We chose the Game Museum and the way they incorporated the games into the clues was super fun and kept our attention. Dallas was our game master and they were super thorough when explaining the process, we entered the game with no questions other than “where do we start?!” and eventually a hint popped up on the screen after we ran around trying to fiddle with anything and everything. We were also able to lock up any belongings we didn’t want to bring in the room which was super convenient. We unfortunately were not able to complete the escape room but we had so much fun that we 100% intend on coming back to finish solving the puzzles and try out the other themes as well. Thank you Dallas (and sister, didn’t catch her name I’m so sorry!) for an amazing experience on Valentine’s day even though it was late on a holiday. We appreciate your hospitality and constant...
