Marshalls — Attraction in Miami

This is by farthest, the most horrible customer service I’ve had while shopping across all Marshalls. I was passing by the area and had to make a return (I take full responsibility that I did not have my receipt but I paid with my card and the product had its original tags + the original condition which I had bought). I was willing to take a store credit refund if that was the option offered. The associate named Jennifer first stated the the tags did not match the product, I assured her that I was 100% that those were the original tags, the only thing I did not have was the receipt. I was told to wait and the associate/manager name Janice came up with a similar product and fully accused me that the product that they carried was of less priced than my product’s tag which meant that I was trying to steal money from them. Mind you they never scanned my tags or asked when I made the purchase, where I made the purchase, or what I was trying to do. They just accused me in front of the entire store that I was switching product and trying to get money. Instead of helping me, they accused me of theft and stated that I should return the product in another store. I would not shop here ever again because if this is how the manager/cashier associates “try” to help customers who misplaced the receipt, I can’t imagine what they will do if someone had a serious issue. Hello. We did not have a great experience in this store. My friends wallet got stolen from inside of her purse twenty mins after we walked in. We reported the incident to the staff but they did not seem really helpful. Had to catch police outside and then marshalls staff reacted a little differently. The qualified person who has access to the security room to watch the cameras was not there at the moment so we waited almost an hour for them to find out what happened. The wallet was found inside of the store with everything but the money. Marshalls staff knows who the thief is.

I understand that this situations are not easy to prevent but the security and marshalls staff can notice if some one is there shopping or just walking around especially in a quiet tuesday afternoon.

This is a good store it's very clean and can get very busy at times with all the high rise residents that live in that area. Its in the Midtown shops next to Target. I don't always shop here because of the charge for parking on the street and in the garage. I am at the halfway point between this store and the North Miami store on Biscayne I really only shop here if the product I am looking for is not available at the North Miami location. I guess I could order online and have it brought out to my car and not worry about parking but I think you still need to drive into the parking garage and I'm guessing you could be charged when exiting the garage. I just think its a lot easier at the North Miami location...
