Tucked away in the vibrant heart of Miami, Salumeria 104 is a gastronomic haven that beckons to those who appreciate the art of fine dining. With an ambiance that transports you to the heart of Italy, delectable offerings, and service that feels like a warm embrace, this establishment is a testament to the essence of culinary indulgence.

During my recent visit to Salumeria 104 - Midtown Miami, I embarked on a sensory journey that led me to their exquisite "Piccola Selezione." A dish that encapsulates the soul of Italian cuisine, the Piccola Selezione was a symphony of flavors and textures – an enticing assortment of carefully curated cheeses, cured meats, and olives that whisked me away to the streets of Italy with every bite.

Yet, a memorable dining experience isn't just about the dishes; it's about the individuals who curate it. Our evening was graced by the impeccable service of our waitress, Giulia. With her genuine passion for the culinary arts and her extensive knowledge of the menu, Giulia guided us through the selections, sharing insights and ensuring that every nuance of our experience was attended to. Her attentive nature and genuine warmth added an extra layer of magic to our evening, turning a meal into a cherished memory.

The "Piccola Selezione" is but a glimpse into their commitment to crafting flavors that transport you to the heart of Italy.

Salumeria 104 - Midtown Miami seamlessly captures the spirit of Miami's vibrancy while offering a culinary journey that transcends continents. A visit here is not just a meal; it's an exploration of culture, a celebration of flavors that evoke memories of Italian markets and trattorias. And as you savor the delectable offerings, be sure to cross paths with Giulia – her exceptional service embodies the heart of Salumeria 104, where each guest is treated like an old friend.

We stumbled upon Salumeria 104 in the vibrant Wynwood neighborhood of Miami and were lucky enough to find parking right on the street super convenient. The moment we walked in, we were struck by how beautiful and inviting the space is. It blends rustic Northern Italian charm with Miami’s energetic vibes, featuring warm wood tones, cozy lighting, and a relaxed yet elegant atmosphere that immediately made us feel welcome.

One of the highlights of our visit was that Salumeria 104 is pet friendly not just in the typical way where you’re only allowed to sit outside, but they actually let us sit inside with our dog. That is such a rare and appreciated gesture, especially on a hot day when being outdoors with a pet would have been very uncomfortable. Their flexibility and kindness toward pet owners really made a difference and added a personal touch to the experience.

The service was absolutely spectacular. Our server greeted us with genuine enthusiasm, explained the menu with care, and made us feel truly looked after.

To start, we ordered the Cacio e Pepe, prepared tableside in a 12-month aged Pecorino Romano cheese wheel. It was creamy, perfectly peppery, and the pasta had the ideal bite a showstopper in both flavor and presentation. For our main dish, we chose the Branzino, beautifully broiled and served with mixed greens and tartar sauce. The fish was fresh, flaky, and cooked to perfection, with a lovely crisp on the skin and delicate seasoning that let the quality of the ingredients shine.

To end the meal on a sweet note, we shared a classic Tiramisù, light and creamy with just the right amount of espresso flavor. We paired it with a glass of red wine, which complemented the meal beautifully.

Everything from the easy parking, stunning interior, and delicious food to the warm and thoughtful service made our visit absolutely memorable. And the fact that our dog could be comfortably with us inside just elevated the experience even more. Salumeria 104 is a gem in Miami truly 100%...

I have been to this restaurant numerous times, especially with guests from out of town, and always had a pleasant experience until my most recent visit. I was literally ignored most of the evening. My entree was brought out quite some time before the rest of my party which made our experience awkward. Good restaurants always bring food out at the same time and never allow something like that to happen. I happen to have ordered one of the most expensive entrées on their menu so it was extremely unfortunate that I had to start eating five minutes before the rest of my party at my table so my food would not get cold. After we finished eating, our plates were cleared and then the server hastily dropped a dessert menu and then proceeded to ignore our table for 15 minutes. At that point, we just wanted our check. After 15 minutes of waiting, we finally got our check and can you believe they tried to charge us for a glass of tapwater? When we initially ordered our wine, we asked for a glass of water. We specified that we wanted tapwater, not sparkling water. When I asked the server why we are being charged for tapwater, something that is not a normal restaurant practice in the United States, she tried to tell me some nonsense and then immediately took it off the bill. Seemed very shady. This had never happened on any of my prior visits in this restaurant. It’s not about the money, but it’s the principle. This is a very tacky business practice that has no place in a good restaurant. Most patrons probably don’t notice the sneaky charge so the restaurant gets away with it. The only thing I enjoyed was the food. The food is delicious. However, the slow service and tacky business practices will make me...

We visited Salumeria 104 for lunch and opted for the chicken Milanese panino which was one of their lunch specials along with several panino and other options. The portion size was very generous with a delicious side salad made of quality greens. The panino itself was a bit underwhelming as the chicken was a bit dry and the breading had a slight flavor of being cooked in overused oil. The choice of bread was also peculiar for a traditional panino as it was thick, fluffy, and a little too stretchy. The mozzarella and vegetables inside the panino were very good. The restaurant itself was very clean and had a rustic Italian vibe. The staff were very friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The menu had several different items that looked intriguing and their wine list was very good offering many of the well-known and DOC/DOCG Italian wines at reasonable prices such as Vino Nobile di Montepulciano, Brunello di Montalcino, Barolo, and more. I was debating whether to give 3 or 4 stars to this restaurant but I think 3/5 is fair based off of the panino. Everything else was great including the service. I'll be sure to return for dinner to try their other items and some wine and I will update my review accordingly.
