I took 3 of my vehicles to Attention to Detail in Middletown, CT after I had learned that they service over 100+ dealerships in the state (Chevy, Ford, Honda, etc.) utilize them for aftermarket upgrades, such as leather seats, sunroofs, heated seats, etc. They install custom upgrades on new or used vehicles throughout the state. The team here is BEYOND top notch, and better than any OEM upgrades you can expect directly from the manufacture. The thing that really put me over the top was that on the 3rd vehicle I took to them for leather seats, which I must say is AMAZING and included all head rests, door trim, third row, and consoles, they found my wedding band that I had lost two months ago, on the floor under the seat. Unlike many other dealers/installers who may have kept the ring out of dishonesty, they returned it to me when I went to pick up the car. This ring was invaluable as my wife had placed it on my finger at our wedding. The ring had more sentimental value to me than any amount of money that I spent on all three vehicles combined. I am so grateful for such an honest and thorough team at Attention to Detail!!!! Read moreExasperated by the difficulties of replacing the speakers in my car, I sought advice and hope; what a relief to get both from a kind face named Jeff. Unfortunately he couldn't work on my car because it had my own parts installed, however he recommended buying a new head unit. My instinct said to buy online because it would be cheaper, but I valued his help and wanted to support a local business, so I paid the extra $50.
About a week later I called and described an installation issue but was put on hold. About 20 minutes later a voice asked me who I was holding for, but upon saying who, their advertisement based hold music turned back on. I drove there, radio dangling, and my phone on speaker phone on the passenger seat. 43 minutes after making the call I arrived. The nice woman's voice projected from my phone as I entered, "Someone will be with you shortly." I hung up on her only after the clerk heard it, then got about 5 minutes worth of advice. They let me borrow a screwdriver, so I gave them 2 stars instead of one.
On my final visit, I tried to pick up some Dynamat, however nothing on sale had a price tag so Brian had to go to his manager to find out the price was over 150% of that online.
The most recent, and the last time I contacted them was for assistance dimming the excessively bright radio I had purchased. They couldn't figure it out over the phone, but said they'd call back. They never did.

Many issues with an INTOX-A-LOCK breathalyzer device, from day one. They have gone in and tightened connections, replaced entire "brain unit," and the handheld device many times. If you are in an extenuating circumstance, ask for Brian, he knows his stuff, and is agreeable and professional, despite the relaxed demeanor and "no-pressure" atmosphere cultivated, which is huge in my opinion. And uncommon.. Brian has been on the phone with this company time and again, explaining details as to the company's faulty equipment. Many times, although he has always been a steward of the ideal "the customer is always right." At least not wrong, as in my situation. Sensitivity and tact are most definitely required if you want any kind of cooperation regarding the INTOX-A-LOCK company. Brian has done exactly what was needed to put it bluntly, save my a** from over $1500 in fees and 3 years added on to the time period I am required to have this device in my car for.
