Not my favourite. $19 for a rainbow roll. With that price tag, I wasn't willing to order anything additional and went home hungry. The bill came out to $40 all told without ordering drinks. We asked about tea, but a hot tea was $5. Rainbow roll had a sweet sauce on it - ponzu? Fellow shrimp-haters beware: rainbow roll has shrimp. Overall, I think the sushi was good, but not a style I personally like and not worth the cost to me. The wife ordered oyakodon and loved it. This is a great little place just outside the back door of the Hampton Inn Burlingame. It’s only open until 6 pm but while it’s open there is an open gate straight out the back door and across the parking lot. They have burgers and a small selection of Asian foods. I had Chicken Teriyaki which came with a small salad and rice. It was excellent. My wife had a burger and onion rings. The burger was just a burger like a thousand other places that make burgers. A true gem. This hole-in-the-wall spot is convenient to SFO airport hotels and offers two menus: burgers or Japanese fare.

I went for the bento box. The salmon was delicious and savory, the tempura perfectly cooked and not a bit oily, and the sushi roll spot-on.

The table next to me raved about their sushi rolls.

I fly through SFO regularly and will definitely be back.
