wow. absolutely incredible food, and the kindest service you'll find anywhere.

While at the Hyatt for kublacon, I searched for food within walking distance, I saw watani spot and got excited at the sight of their menu and was definitely not disappointed.

I ordered loaded fries (beef) for myself, Kunjet Pilau for my partner, and some watani fries for my child

The person there was so nice, it's hard to describe, it's not the sort of kindness you typically encounter. They are clearly proud of the food they make and are excited to share their work.

The food is so amazing, I'm planning on getting a different dish for dinner if they are still open when Im ready to eat again. The loaded fries are covered in sauces that are amazingly flavorful, and the beef is spiced so nicely. The beef was pleasantly soft and I devoured my whole full dish so quickly it left me to be uncomfortably full, and oh so satisfied.

10/10, would recommend to anybody, and planning on making special effort to come back any time I'm in this area of the bay and will probably make special trips over here on occasion just for food, it just really...

updated 8/17/25: i had the lamb wow and i don’t even like lamb it’s so incredible i had to come back on here and say something. also they included a homemade hot sauce that there’s never enough of wow that shit is fireee anyways im obviously obsessed and i keep telling people about it bc what the hell

the next time i asked for hot sauce on my doordash order and they put extra! it’s wild that how a food truck provide better customer service than most restaurants thanks for existing

also i have no pics i keep eating it before i can sorry ———- so good will be back, i usually drive to fremont for afghan food, so im excited to have such great food closer to home! combo kebab was excellent the beef is chefs kiss marinated so well!! i usually like chicken and the chicken is also good not dry. also the beans??? i don’t know what makes the beans soo good i hope i can order in a larger size next time! and the people are also really nice :)...
