Palm Tree Nails — Attraction in Millburn

I started visiting this location last year and loved it. A few months ago, a new owner took over and I was honestly very nervous. Chloe, the new owner, exceeded my expectations. I typically get a gel overlay to protect my nails as I wash my hands frequently. The old owner had a system that worked, but this new owner had incredible products from Korea! My gel overlay looks so natural and lasted me 3/4 weeks because it started chipping completely off. You can tell as she files your nails and concentrates she is passionate about her craft and has a great level of expertise. I typically get a basic pedicure, and was blown away. They wrapped my legs in a hydration wrap, and got rid of all this dead skin I didn’t even know I had. If this was the basic pedicure I can’t wait to experience the spa treatment.

I had been to Palm Tree a couple of times and had been happy with my experience. I hadn’t been in 6 weeks, and showed up for a UV gel fill. I was in and out in under an hour but was shocked when I was charged for a full set $120–double what I had been expecting to pay.

My previous set was in tact and had not been removed, it was filled (as usual). There was a good amount of filing to do, but it didn’t take any longer than my usual appointment. More effort/work typically takes more time.

Chloe called me to tell me anything over 2 weeks required a new set and this was information all of her customers knew…this was new information to me. I’ve never gotten a “new set” after only 2 weeks at any location including Palm Tree.

When I told her how important transparency was, she insisted she had been transparent.

10/10! Service was amazing. I got the pedicure with added spa treatment and almost fell asleep. The treatment was very therapeutic and lasted longer than I expected for just a $10 additional cost. Included multiple foot and leg massages. I also got a gel extension manicure, and I was very impressed. I have gotten my nails done at various places many times, and nobody has ever put so much care and attention to detail like Palm tree nails did for me. Every single nail is absolutely perfect. The skills they have are very clear. I enjoyed watching the service, because it truly was art. I also decided to grab a quick massage, which was also perfect. To tie it all together, the place is wonderfully decorated for the fall season, had jazz playing in the background, and a sweet kitty who was sleeping in the window- further adding to the ambiance.
