8/24/25 Sunday 12 noon. My first time at this Aquatic pool and I was very impressed!! Definitely would come back again!!! The staffs are friendly and professional❣️ I felt very safe swimming here❣️Plenty of lifeguards to monitor each sections❣️🤩🙏🩷🏊♂️ Facility is clean!
*❗️Safety: For those who can't swim or can't swim well, rest assured, there are a lot of lifeguards on duty!! They are very professional, highly trained and super nice! The lifeguards monitor ALL sections of the pool!! Life vests are available next to the First Aid station for kids and adults. They care about your safety and are serious about keeping you safe! 🙏😍🤩
🔹️🏊♂️🔹️There are 6 pool sections. Again, lifeguards are everywhere for your safety!
🌊🛝💦 Water slides (there are 3)--again, lifeguards are everywhere for your safety! Red water slide: lead to the deep end pool (~13+ feet deep). Has a diving board. Purple & yellow water slides: both leads to the same pool (~4 feet deep)--on the right side of the pool, next to the fountain pool. to get to the slides, you'd go up the stairs in the far back...past the deep pool with diving board. there are 2 lines: one for the purple water slide & one for the yellow water slides. You can not wear any buckle clothing. You can not wear your swimming goggles. You can wear the goggles around your neck or hold it.
Sitting area are located inside the pool area: Lots of tables, chairs and benches in full view of the pools. Spectators can sit in this area.
Bathroom/changing room: there are 3 areas for bathrooms and changing rooms. Areas are clean and not dirty.
Lockers: free for use with admission fee. The front staff will ask if you want a locker? There's a $5.00 deposit per locker and ID required. They do take cash. You will get the money back after you return the key(s). I was told by the staff, you do NOT need to wait in line to return the locker key(s).
🥤🍫Vending machine: available inside. Across from check in desk. 🚙 Parking: plenty and free in front of the building. Prices and hours: please check their website. Best to fill out the requirements online and pay online for easier/faster check in.
Water pool temperature 🌡 💦: for the most part...the pool water is not cold but warm. I found the deep pool to be a little colder tho.
Inside the pool area can be warm and humid? I would recommend to keep yourself hydrated with water. There's vending machines on-site.
In case you don't know already: best to bring bag(s) to put your wet clothes in and bring extra clothes to change into. Wear easy shoes you can wear (flip flop, crocs, sandles, etc). Arrive at least 30 mins before you appointment time as the wait line or check in process can take a while. Do everything online as much as possible.
💫🩷💫🤩 I DEFINITELY HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!! Had sooo much fun! Felt very safe here with the lifeguards here!!! Clean! Definitely would come back again!...
Read moreI am yet to make it in to see the facility in person, but I will say that from what I can see through posted pictures it looks like a really nice operation with plenty of ways to enjoy your time there. My rating, which I hope to be able to adjust upward in time, is based on my recent experience in trying to find my 1 year old little guy some instructed swim lessons. There are way too many preventable accidents with horrible results due to being around water for children his age. With the warmer weather fast approaching, I anticipate we will find ourselves close to bodies of water of various types more often. As I tried to register him for a class, I was disappointed to see we were set onto a wait list. When looking for more information on what to expect while on the list, or to find what additional steps may need to be taken, I discovered thar we are nearly 90th on the list for one of the two classes, and we are close to 130th for the other class. With this much interest in the swim class for those in this age range, and considering how important learning these skills, which are life saving to say the least, is, I would be pressed to ask why there are only 2 class options to choose from, and why they are capped at 20 participants. Larger groups may be difficult to instruct, or maybe the space needed for more people on the water is restrictive...understandable. Then why not create a third, fourth, or even fifth class to fill the obvious need, which is evident by the size of the wait list. How many months is it going to take to move up the lists and finally secure a spot in a class? Will my son still even be within the age bracket the class is intended for? But more importantly why delay or prevent such a high number of children from being able to have the knowledge and skills to keep themselves safe in the event of an accidental slip, fall or similar that causes an unintended entry to water? Or a forgetful neighbor who doesn't notice the gate isn't fully closed or latched on the barrier set up on the perimeter of their pool, if there actually happens to be one? So many potentially, and often, deadly accidents that happen so quickly and quietly can be easily avoided or at least made considerably less dangerous with some basic water safety knowledge. I baffles me on how difficult it is to find classes, and how limited the classes that can be found are. Maybe if more voices are heard in support of making these things more accessible eventually change...
Read moreYah .. it's fine I guess. It was very very busy. In the wave pool I ran into at least 25 people and had another 30 or 40 bump into me. The lines were very long at the slides. They limit free swim sessions to like an hour here and there for THE WEEK .. so the entire city of Clackamas converges. The line just to get in was curved around and out the door. If that line was stretched out it would have been 60 feet of people. Had like one dude behind the counter moving that line. If you don't do the pre-check in online you are absolutely crazy.
Also .. read carefully .. chlorine is odorless in its natural state. When you smell chlorine that is because it is interacting with a foreign agent like... TADAAAAA URINE!!
The less educated will walk in there and say "mannnnn they use alot of chlorine".. no.. it's ALOT OF PEOPLE PEEING .. and you know why? Because it's not available much for general public to general swim .. so everyone and their dog packs in there and pees.
Just telling you so when you walk in and smell all that "chlorine" that you get it..
Anyways .. neat facility itself. Cool slide that drops you in the water from 5 feet up (if you stand in line) .. not super cheap. The kinda place I'd go again if my kid nagged me forever.
But .. if you get in that wave pool with 300 adults and 250 kids .. just know the deal.
30 minute wait to get in. If youre not precheck in and you're not there 15 minutes early I'd just wait. Even had a guy try to cut me in line to get in .. why? Because the swim session itself is short so there's pressure.. and that "get in the place" line HARDLY moves.
Good luck.
I think there are better options personally.
Was not spring break, just a plain old weekend.
Definetly recommend trying to find ways to move the walk in line faster. I mean .. one dude behind the counter for 40...
