I've been on the hunt for the ideal place to satisfy my pastry cravings, and I'm excited to share that I've finally discovered it at the new Croffle Crew shop located just outside Clackamas Town Center mall. This delightful little spot has quickly become my favorite destination for a sweet (or savory) treat, and I can't wait to explain why it deserves all the accolades.
From the moment you walk in, you're welcomed by the most inviting atmosphere. The interior design is gorgeous. Showcasing a modern and minimalist aesthetic with flawless finishes all around. The bright atmosphere gives off a refreshing and open feel that invites you to relax and stay for a while. Everything about the décor is Instagram-worthy, yet it somehow manages to feel warm and inviting rather than cold or sterile. The charming details scattered throughout the area add character without overwhelming the sleek design, and the natural light streaming through the windows makes everything feel even more cheerful and welcoming.
Now, let's discuss the true highlight of the experience: the croffles themselves. For those who are unfamiliar, croffles are the brilliant combination of croissants and waffles, pressed and griddled to achieve crispy, flaky perfection. Croffle Crew has truly mastered the art of the croffle, striking that ideal balance between the buttery layers of a croissant and the satisfying crunch of a waffle. Each one is delivered golden and beautiful, practically begging to be photographed before that first heavenly bite.
The Lotus Biscoff croffle is truly amazing. The generous layer of that famous caramelized speculoos cookie butter complements the rich, buttery croffle base perfectly. They really donât skimp on the Biscoffâeach bite is filled with that unique spiced, caramelized taste that Biscoff enthusiasts crave. The sweetness is just right, indulgent without being overly sweet, and the mix of the smooth, creamy spread with the crispy edges of the croffle creates a delightful textural contrast. I've ordered this multiple times already, and it never lets me down.
But what really impressed me about was the salmon croffle. I was initially doubtful about a savory croffle option, but this dish completely changed my mind. The fresh, delicate salmon pairs wonderfully with the flaky croffle, pickled onion, and cream cheese spread. It gives off an unexpectedly refined combination that feels like brunch elevated to an art form. The richness of the salmon enhances rather than overpowers the buttery pastry. Itâs the kind of dish that makes you reconsider whatâs achievable with this format.
The menu has a fantastic variety beyond these two highlights, giving you plenty of reasons to come back and explore. The presentation is stunning, and the quality is top-notch. Considering the quality of ingredients used, the prices are quite fair. The service is also worth mentioning. The staff seems friendly, enthusiastic, and clearly takes pride in what they create. Theyâre more than happy to offer their recommendations if youâre having trouble deciding what to order. The ordering process is seamless and efficient, and even when the shop is busy, they keep their composure.
Situated at Clackamas Town Center, itâs the ideal place to grab a bite before or after shopping, take a break during a mall run, or to meet friends as a casual hangout spot. Thereâs plenty of parking available nearby.
If you have a craving for something sweet or if you enjoy unique savory dishes, this croffle shop has something for everyone. I'm thrilled to have this place in our neighborhood, and I believe it will quickly become a cherished local hotspot. Treat yourself and visit soon! I'm already looking forward to my next trip and trying out more items on the menu. This is precisely the type of vibrant, high-quality venue that makes our local dining scene...
Read moreThis is the most well-thought-out restaurant I have ever been to. Every detail and decision feels carefully planned, and you can truly see how much effort and heart were put into making this place a wonderful spot to enjoy amazing food.
We arrived around 3 oâclock, and of course there was a line. What else would you expect from a place thatâs new and genuinely good? Everyone wants to try it and experience it for themselves. We waited in line for a good 15 minutes, but it moved quickly. It actually gave us time to think about what we wanted to order and to look around and appreciate all the thoughtful details and intentional design of the restaurant. Itâs such a unique and well-crafted space.
When we got to the front, we started ordering. We ordered matchas, the pizza croffle, the Biscoff croffle, the maple bacon croffle, the Nutella croffle, and the berry compote croffle. All I can say is OMG! nothing like anything Iâve ever tried. The croissant dough was perfectly crispy with incredible layers! The ingredients they used for each croffle were high-quality and freshly made.
The matcha was so cute and so delicious! Iâve never had a matcha that was the perfect size and tasted this good. It paired perfectly with the croffles.
Overall, 10/10 I will definitely be...
Read moreI was really excited to visit this place today. I ordered a matcha latte and the âIâm Just a Girlâ because I had seen so many beautiful posts about them on social media. The presentation and the atmosphere looked amazing online, so my expectations were high.
Unfortunately, when I received my order I was quite disappointed. The colors and quality didnât look the same as what was advertised, and I could tell that the standard might have gone down a bit. It was disappointing, especially since I spent about $20 including tip.
I really hope the quality improves again, because the place itself has such great potential. đ
( update.. Thanks for your reply and for clarifying! I totally understand that each Croffle is made to order, but since customers usually decide based on what they see in the display, itâs important that the real product looks quite similar. When it turns out noticeably different, it can be a bit disappointing because expectations are set by the display. Maybe updating the sample or using real product photos could make things clearer for future...
