I’ve been super excited to try this place ever since I saw the signs for it while they were still in the process of getting it up and running, and boy was it delicious!! The atmosphere was lovely and the food was even better. I got two different salad rolls, one with the lemongrass pork and the other was the bulgogi. While Both were wonderfully seasoned, I preferred the lemongrass pork by far. The bulgogi being on the sweeter side and the lemongrass pork was savory and perfectly cooked. I also got a lemongrass pork Baguette which perfectly hit the spot and was my favorite out of the two different items I got. I got the Thai Chimichurri and Miso green goddess sauce which again both were absolutely delicious but the Thai Chimichurri paired perfectly with not only the salad rolls but my baguette as well. Also the prices are great! It was only $9.50 for a baguette as well as $9.50 for 2 spring rolls or $12 for 3 which I think is a steal especially considering you get to build everything to your liking.
My only complaints are pretty superficial and so I didn’t let it affect my overall 5 star rating but since it is so new I’d love to give my honest critic. I was slightly disappointed in the spice level of the Chimichurri sauce, the menu said it was supposed to be spicy and I personally didn’t taste any level of spice to it. I also felt the protein portions were not consistent, both my spring rolls and baguette had hardly any meat on it which maybe would have been fine if I hadn’t watched a different employee making the customers behind me order and they got at least double the amount of protein I did and they ordered the same meat options I did. I can tell the young man making my order was not very confident in what he was doing but I was very understanding that they just opened and was still new to it all, it was just disappointing to see how much less meat I got in comparison to the guest behind me. My baguette was also handed to me with the paper around it totally open which was a pain to get it home in that condition.
Overall the prices and food was phenomenal and I will be back! I would strongly recommend this...
Read moreI was super excited to go. Me and my friends went a couple days after opening. When we got to order being the first time here ever we assumed it would be like other styles places ordering ie (chipotle, subway, mod, etc). I went first of my friends. The first coworker asking people's orders had me order with the cashier because it would take a couple minutes for the to bread to warm up. I had no problem with this but i was the only one that had to order this way and not go down the line. The menu seems confusing or miscommunicatin to the workers. I was told because I got a baguette sandwich I could only have a protein and veggies. I was told the additional toppings/a side of sauce do not come on it. I wish the sign would say that. Same went for my husband rice bowl was told the same thing. I know it was the first week of being open so I am being open minded and hopefully in time...
Read moreI was really excited to try this place! I love that they have the wonton option in the spring roll, it’s surprisingly hard to find. The sauces are super watery for my liking, the flavor is there though. The workers were so friendly helpful and skilled. My biggest issue of the visit was the owner reprimanding one of her employees on the floor, while holding the sandwich we were waiting for and everyone could hear. I’m empathic to the stress of what it takes to open a business, I’ve been there. But have some respect for your employees and customers (your business won’t last without them) and your restaurant. Conversations with your employees should happen off the floor for everyone’s sake. I’m not sure if we will return but I’m happy I got to go and I hope the employees who are the backbone of the operation get...
