Dairy Queen — Restaurant in Milwaukie

If I could give them zero stars I would. I'm not sure what is wrong with this DQ, as I have been to MANY over the years. Not sure if its management lacking or what but the staff sucks. Had to repeat my order back to them multiple times and they still couldn't figure out what I wanted. I order a M&M blizzard with chocolate ice cream. Today I was told they dont have chocolate ice cream so I suggested putting chocolate syrup in to make it chocolate. Since they were clearly having a hard time hearing I didn't even ask why or when they got rid of chocolate ice cream but I was okay with it since they could still make it. After placing an order for four blizzards and getting to the window to pay the girl at the window asked if we wanted a drink carrier and lids. I said yes to the drink carrier but no to the lids. She asked again since I guess the first time didn't go through to her. She didn't flip any of the blizzards upside down, put lids on them, handed them out the window and said "there you go". You could tell she didn't like her job at all. Wasnt enthusiastic at all. I get home and open all the lids. If it wasnt for the fact that mine had M&Ms in it I seriously wouldn't have been able to tell if it was my blizzard or not. Luckily I have chocolate syrup, a Ninja blender and a functioning brain so I fixed my blizzard at home. At that point I didn't want to go back and have to deal with the people working there for my own sanity. I also ordered the dinosaur blizzard for my brother which he had tried before at another location. He told me he was super disappointed because the first one he had was amazing and this one didn't taste right at all. If you are looking for a good ice cream place in the Happy Valley area I would suggest going to Baskin Robin's. Sub Zero in the Clackamas Town Center is pretty cool too. I love DQ! But this is the worst one I have ever been to and unfortunately it's the only one close to my house. The staff is not very nice nor professional, in the way they act and dress. The wait is always overly long, they don't thank you for waiting or apologize about it either. I worked fast food for almost 2 years and I never treated my customers the way they do at this location. The hours of operation are confusing as well, I've gone and they have been closed 15 minutes early from what the sign says and on here it says they are only open 2 days a week witch isn't correct. Also, how do you know what stores are participating in the upside down or free?? They always give them upside down but tonight she didn't and when I asked if my next one would be free she said they aren't a participating?

1 year update: Nothing has changed except that they have taken the hours off of Google and when you call there phone doesn't work. Hi as a business owner, don’t like reviews that are negative with no reason but this one is a must. I went to order through drive-through and one of the employees young kid with purple hair and some piercings(is a she) gave a horrible, horrible customer service as I’m done, ordering and paying, my kid decides to add on one item to our order as I am requesting the add on this employee decides to roll her eyes with a smirk on her face, which makes me really upset because as a business owner, I would hate One of my employees to treat any customer like this and on top of That she’s respond with a SURE with the nastiness attitude and as I’m asking, what are the options for a blizzard she starts laughing and having so much attitude so I had to Cancel my add-on it’s so sad.
