We recently purchased a Nintendo gameboy color that had a note that it was missing it's back cover. We asked it it worked and if they could show us with a game and they said yes. They were not able to find a game to demonstrate it worked. It was listed for 90 but they were having a sale for 70. So not cheap. We bought it and when we put a game in it, it started rebooting continuously in a loop and the sound would not work. We turned it on and off several times and it seemed to get a little closer to being able to play a game but would start looping again. We took it back up to them today which is the next day after purchase and they would only do store credit. To be fair, when showing them, it did start up, of course, and looked like it was working except the sound was still broke. I feel like they misrepresented the item by stating it was just missing a cover when it has broken sound, some kind of problem reading games and it would get stuck in a loop. They were nice but very insistent on only store credit even though we could show that at least the sound was not working. Now we are stuck with trying to figure out to figure out something else to buy there with the store credit minus the credit card fee they charge for using a credit card. The lady did tell us she wasn't charging us a restocking fee. My mouth about fell open. I'm a first time customer there and after I find some way to spend my credit, it will be the last time I am. Bad business, no problem taking your money. Shame on...
