The Store at Mia — Attraction in Minneapolis

My best friend went here and came back with a gift for me which was a little painted self-portrait recreation of a Frida Kahlo piece since Frida was the inspiring historical woman I chose to do a huge presentation and researched report on in high school English class upon the recommendation from my teacher. It was so precious to me and it inspired me as an adult to visit this museum and gift shop as an adult after I got married for one of our anniversaries. My dream is to go back here because one day wasn't enough for me to see everything and shop here too! Loved it and was blown away by the collections and gift shop! Mia is a wonderful place to visit. So many amazing pieces of the collection and exhibits. The store has a variety of neat gifts and themed gifts tied to specific exhibits.

The work that the Mia leadership does is so important to the livelihood of this amazing institution. The staff and volunteers are helpful and friendly, always.
