Time Bomb Vintage — Attraction in Minneapolis

I gave it 2 stars because of the cool items they have however,I will never go back to this store again and that is unfortunate because there is so much cool stuff to look at and boy did it bring back memories of my childhood but my boyfriend and I were followed around the store the entire time we were there and the one staff member literally stepped over me to straighten an already straightened shelf. Then it happened again and again. It actually made us mad.It was extremely uncomfortable and quite frankly disrespectful. If your worried about theft then hire a security team but following people around a store to the point of making it completely obvious that they were just waiting for us to steal something is what will ultimately make you lose your revenue and shut down. I actually purchased 2 things and tried to hold a conversation with the gentlemen ringing me out and I can tell you I've had nicer, more constructive conversations with a wall. And the wall didn't make me feel uncomfortable! Rude service and even more rude employee's. I won't be back and I won't recommend your store to anyone. In fact I'll do the exact opposite. I stumbled upon this quaint little vintage shop on a service call to S Mpls. There is something about the smell of vintage stores, 50 years of accumulated scents from hundreds of mid century homes all mixed together..its like perfume to me. This place has lots of very groovy stuff. Mostly trinkets and toys, fun, colorful things. Its always fun to browse and they do a great job of displaying their wares. But as an experienced buyer, I was completely put off by their prices. $25 for an old Schmidt beer 12 pack..and without the beer. $5 a piece for ratty old Archie comic books. $80-$100 for clock radios? This is an excellent place to shop for vintage clothing, collectibles, vinyl, comics, and more. The layout is practical and easy it navigate, prices are reasonable, and staff are very friendly and helpful.

The store does a great job of practicing and embracing social distancing. All staff were wearing masks and signs were posted that asked for the same from customers. I felt safe and respected, and appreciated that a lot.
