Brackett Field Park — Attraction in Minneapolis

Brackett Park is a cute family friendly park with jungle gyms for the children to play on it has a decent-sized waiting pool that I know is open during the summer Panda pavilion picnic tables softball fields for playing kickball and baseball. There were too many children around for me to take pictures but the park has tons of mature oak trees. At the time of my visit the park board is allowing people to camp in tents with a permit which I thought was very interesting. They were off in a corner not all over the place just in a little row. They even have picnic tables and little charcoal grills that you can use. And parking...

It was a beautiful day in the park really fun to play in with an area for slightly larger Kids and small ones. I do wish it was a bit larger bit what can you do. Some of the contraptions are really interesting too. From 10am-10pm there are bathrooms before that you are out of luck and I could not find a water fountain at all outside. The area is mostly residential so it is mostly quiet for a quick trip to the park with kids. Or for teens...

Just needed a place to sit with my thoughts. Literally the scene from every book or movie featuring a park. Open, green, a playground with laughing children.... picturesque. I guess my rating has everything to do with my state of mind, at that moment. I was frustrated and the park was exactly what it was...
