The Cutting Gallery — Attraction in Miramar

My experience with Osman at the Cutting Gallery did not go well. First of all, I was recommended to this particular barber because my friend said he was good with kids. However, the meeting turned out to be a total disaster. My appointment was scheduled for 11:00 AM, but I was not seen until 11:22 AM. Despite waiting patiently with my son, who needed a haircut for an upcoming vacation, the delay was frustrating.

When it was finally time to be seated, I showed Osman a picture of an afro with a drop fade, indicating the style I wanted for my son. However, this is when the excuses began. Osman started mentioning that my son was active and the chosen haircut was very detailed. He expressed reluctance to take the risk of cutting my son's hair, as he seemed to move a lot. I was taken aback by his hesitation and asked him directly if he couldn't do the haircut. In response, he mentioned that he wasn't trying to "diss me" and explained that he had noticed my son when we first walked in, which led him to ask who was getting the haircut.

My son was deeply distraught and saddened by this experience, but I had to reassure him that he would indeed get a haircut, just not from this particular barber shop. Thirty minutes later, I decided to go to a competitor barber shop where they cut my son's hair with no issues. It was a relief to finally find a place where my son's haircut could be done without any unnecessary complications.

Before getting my cut here for the first time I had been wandering around trying out barbers but no one could get exactly do the cut I wanted, this was until I came out here and Quincy got me, showed him a few references and from artist to artist he got me right, the difference between this barbershop to all the others stands out as soon as you set foot inside it, the minimalistic but well thought out look of the booths, walls, chairs and just about everything compliments one another.

This isn’t just going to be a barbershop, it’s going to be an experience, if you’re into the arts just like myself this is the perfect place for you but even if you’re not and don’t really care much for art, you’ll still appreciate the atmosphere and leave out of shop looking exactly how you expected to.

This place is just in its early stages of what it’ll truly become eventually like an art gallery and a place for people to express themselves, network and much more, if I were someone who hasn’t tried it and is reading reviews just like I did before finally going, I’d go before it becomes hard to even get a reservation for it because it...

Great barber shop. All of the barbers are one of a kind pros. Ive been Quincy’s loyal client for over a decade now, and there’s a reason I’ll HAPPILY wait an extra week to get a cut from him when he’s out of town…. He is a true master of his craft. I can guarantee you, his skills are light years ahead of your current barbers. Every time I visit him for a cut, I get compliments on it for SEVERAL days after. PLUS, he’s a great conversationalist, and he’s the type of barber who you consider a friend after a short time. As far as the shop itself, It’s beautiful. Very “Feng Shui” and they keep it super clean. It’s the best barber shop in South Florida in my honest opinion.
