I order a chicken bowl when I get to the counter to pay the cashier was standing there did not greet us, did not look at us her fake lashes were very long, her hat was pulled down very low you could barley see her face. But you could see her body language and she had an Attitude, so when she didn’t greet or say anything I didn’t say anything and then eventually she said anything else so I said yes chips and queso please. She rung me up I got my food and left she gave no thank you or have a great day nothing. I get in the car began to eat my food and it is nasty the worst tasting chipotle I have ever tasted, The guacamole didn’t taste like it normally does the rice was clumpy it just was not tasty and then I realized I did not have chicken in my bowl I was going to say forget it but I couldn’t continue to eat it and I did not wanna waste my money so I went back and I asked the young lady who made my bowl did she put chicken in my bowl she said she cannot remember so I politely asked could I have chicken added to my bowl a young man beside her begin to take a little container that you would use for sauce and put chicken in it. the manager walks up and ask what’s going on and I told him I was supposed to have chicken in my bowl, I paid for chicken and he tells the young man to give me chicken, the manager did not apologize for the inconvenience, the manager did not help, he was not friendly, he has horrible customer service. He goes back to cutting chicken. And the young man who was very nice starts to put meat in a container that would not equal out to what I would’ve normally gotten if she had put chicken in my bowl so he gave me a few more. The manager walks over when he sees the young man is giving me more than one and he tells me do you want extra meat that I have to pay for it and I say no I’m only getting what comes in the bowl he goes well you can only have one to go with. I said that’s not enough he goes you can only get one and I said OK then I want a whole new bowl. The chips were not fresh, the queso wasn’t good very disappointed in this chipotle first...

I am writing to formally make a complaint regarding an unpleasant experience I had at your location on January 28, 2025. During my visit, I was informed by the evening staff of what I believe to be an unlawful and unprofessional practice that warrants immediate attention.
While ordering, I was told by a staff member that there is a new “rule” in place where customers are charged extra if they request items to be placed on the side rather than inside their bowl. Specifically, I was informed that if I chose to have certain items on the side, I would incur an additional charge. The staff member further clarified that if I simply put those items inside the bowl, no extra charge would apply.
This practice was not clearly communicated on the menu, nor was I informed of such a policy during the ordering process making it feel like a hidden charge meant to mislead customers. Charging extra simply for placing food items on the side is not only unreasonable, but it also feels like a deceptive way of increasing the total cost of a meal without transparency.
I am requesting that this situation be thoroughly investigated. It is concerning that the entire evening shift was aware of this alleged "new rule," and I believe it may be in violation of fair business practices. I would appreciate a response from both the franchise owner and corporate management to ensure that no other customers face similar issues...
Read moreI'm not sure why I punish myself. Sadly I can never do mobile order because it's always wrong. So I do walk in and it's still wrong. The person ahead of me had 3 bowls, I get that there was only 1 guy. But I don't get why the person ringing up was just watching? She was never trained to wash her hands, put on some gloves, and put food in a bowl? Ok so back to the guy who was clearly stressed - he did the 3 bowls, but then started working on mobile orders (so should I do mobile orders again since they seem to prioritize them). Finally he acknowledges my existence and gets me food. I like to microwave my bowl when I'm home - so rice, protein and cheese goes in the bowl and everything is on the side. I also like to eat my chips with sour cream and cheese, so I get extra of that. Apparently he wasn't listening when I asked for sour cream and cheese THREE TIMES. SO Ms. Register told him and he goes, "again?!" (OK can we not shame customers for their preferences, thanks). And Ms. Register goes, he will help you with that. Wow, thanks... but you're also just looking at him not doing anything, so why can't you?
