DOMOISHI Poké Bowl - Ramen - Wings - Boba Tea — Restaurant in Miramar

Went to Domoishi recently. Usually one of my favorite places to get food in Miramar. I was completely disappointed that I ordered food from the location through their online ordering which is processed by DoorDash. Being a single father with two kids, it’s a little difficult to cook sometimes. I ordered 2 plates from this location and we were very much anticipating its arrival for my kids were very hungry. The food got there and I was horrified by the rice. The rice felt like rubber. I literally tried to pull it apart with my hands and had no luck whatsoever. I was extremely frustrated so I got my 3 and 5 year old dressed to take it over to their store to request a refund. The representative at the store tried pulling the rice apart herself using a napkin and was horrified to see that my claim was accurate. She worked with me to issue a refund but never asked if she can comp me the meal or replace the bad experience that I had. See saw me with 2 young children out in the rain to return our food and not once was she courteous about the situation. This was a bad experience that I hope no one else will be subjected too. I’ve been hearing a lot on the internet about restaurants using phony rice to reduce overhead but I was surprised to witness something like this. There was absolutely no way to pull the rice apart. I was visiting my boyfriend who lived in Miramar area and I wanted something good to eat but healthy. I accidentally bumped up on this place. It’s a franchise spot but when I walked in Omg. I was such a cute boutique spot. It reminded me a little like a spot I would find in SEOUL in South Korea. If you don’t SEOUL restaurants, they have a marge podge of different delectables foods that taste amazing. My favorite was the spicey wings. I highly suggest their wings, seaweed salad , and I can’t forget their Crab Rangoon. I got my boyfriend the pokie bowl which you can choose from different proteins. This place is not like a Chinese resterant that it’s a lot of pain fryer or sushi assortments which I’m absolutely tired of. This is healthier option for those who really want some better. The owner is there most of the time helping out as much as possible. As a person who pays attention to details. She gives you the cutest bag to take your delectables home. Like I’m still using her bag as a mini lunch bag for work. Lol. Definitely NOT like a typical Asian spot. Please check them out for yourself. I had delivery from this place and I am impressed with both the presentation and the quality of food! I didn’t have much expectations, I mean it’s delivery, most of the time it’s just thrown together. However, this restaurant is super attentive to details. They use a reusable bags instead of paper or plastic. Their utensils are sealed in a very nice branded bag adding on to the cleanliness. The food itself is comforting. What I mean by that is that, it’s fulfilling and great tasting. I had the pick 2 bowl with salmon and spicy tuna. I loved how I didn’t receive the sauces I picked out separately and it was already mixed in to the salad. I also had the UJi matcha latte which was delicious and not overly sweet and the boba wasn’t too hard nor too chewy. Overall, so happy to have found a poke place closer to my home that pays attention to the small details as I can trust them to do that with the food as well....
