I have a complaint to make about my yesterday’s order (code 3381) in name of Alexandre Focante.
I know and go to Silver Spoon for years, I literally lives around the corner. One time back some years, the quality was going really bad and I never ordered anything there anymore.
With all this situation, trying to support local business, I decided to give another chance to them, and I ordered around 4 or 5 times, until yesterday.
Yesterday this was my order below, and I can tell you 2 of the sushis was really bad, and I really know sushi, I have been eating sushi all over the world. Those ones, the EEL ROLL and the PASCALE ROLL I am pretty sure it was “old”, with a very bad tough and old rice which you can feel in the first bite. The Avocado in the Pascale Roll was getting dark, which is not normal for the first hours you open an avocado, so it means this order was there forever, old, not fresh, and I just had to garbage all those, I didn’t eat, I don’t take my chances on that, and I lost that money.
I am very very very disappointed, Silver Spoon lost me again, and I will now recommend never you guys to anyone. Is unacceptable to send sushi, your main business, with old and hard rice, typically old and probably sitting there all day, this is disrespectful specially in this times of crises where we are trying to support local business.

Read moreI thought I had found a place to order food weekly, but the last experience I had today was so far from satisfactory that I won't be returning. I ordered a dinner special for delivery, including chicken teriyaki and sushi/sashimi combo, (which was very specifically advertised on the online menu as coming with a bowl of rice). The food arrived without the side of rice. (My bill did come, however, with a ridiculous $3 surcharge for the bits of brown rice on my sushi.) But oh well, not a big deal, I thought. I'll just ask them to send the rice.
I called to clear up the order and was spoken over rudely by multiple employees, directed to another (incorrect) location, only to be directed back and spoken to AGAIN in a rude way. I was told that the teriyaki chicken dish does not normally come with rice (in what world??) What made it worse was that the chicken today was really so dry---it NEEDED rice. The sushi was also subpar. No thanks, Silver Spoon. I hate writing bad reviews, but the way I was treated tonight rubbed me in a terrible way, and honestly put a huge kink in my night.
This whole situation could have been remedied with a ten cent bowl of brown rice and a little bit of customer service. Instead I will find somewhere else to enjoy my...
Read moreMy husband and I have been eating there since they first opened, both in restaurant and take out and we have always loved the place. Not sure if they have changed management but the last 2 times we have gotten food there it has seriously gone down hill. The food itself is still very good, but packaging is now terrible. Products paid for missing from the order, food put into containers too large for the bag and end up dumped upside down, not closed all the way, and leaking all over the place. In the past such care and pride was taken to make sure that your food got home safe, secure, and most enjoyable.
Recently all of the people we've known for so long are now gone. We loved them all like family and every year at Christmas my husband would always take roses to all of the young ladies and beer to all of the cooks. Again, the food is still excellent, it's the missing items and packing that is terrible. We called tonight to let them know, we had ordered several dressings and sauces (were charged and on receipt) but not one was included in the order. We were told "we call you back". Guess what....no return call. I hope that this isn't an indication that the food will go...
