Was in on 2.5.2021 looking for a Switch preferred the OLED but open to others. Was advised that they didn't have any in stock. Went to look at games in the store came back later and asked if any other locations may have some. Without looking in the system , I was QUICKLY dismissed and told "None in the area have them I have been on and off the store system all day."
I asked if any other retailers would be able to help he said Target would be my best bet.
My Son and Husband were looking in the store and found a game he wanted for the PS4, Giganotosaurus The Game, we purchased the game.
While on our way home we thought why not let's check the Roseland location... Just in case.
Went to the Roseland location and low and behold there was a Switch there.
We got home with the game that we purchased from the Wilshire plaza location put it into our PS4 and it errored out. Removed the game from the PS4 and found so much residue on the game that I am surprised it even fit into the system...
We WILL not be returning to the Wilshire Plaza Location any time soon... For a company that has to battle so much with online sales I am TRULY disappointed at how we were dismissed and pushed aside at the Wilshire...
Read moreBuyer beware - Male sales clerk did not honor the price (24.99 sticker on package) on the game my son was purchasing. Initial total he said was 34 dollars and change which my son started to pay with his Christmas money. I stopped the transaction and asked how the total was so high. He responded and said it includes protection again the disc breaking. I said we do not need that so he took it off and said the new total was $29 and change. I stopped him again and said that was not correct. 24.99 plus tax should be 26.74. He said the price went up and they just have not had time to get the tags replaced. The girl behind the counter made a comment about corporate being on them about things also. I asked if he would honor the price that is on the package and he said No. My son was very upset when I said we would have to find the game somewhere else. We ended up buying the game at Walmart the next day for 14.99. Buyer beware and we will not return as I also see other reviews where customers have dealt with the exact same price issues. Not sure how this place is in business. Dishonest....

My recent visit to this GameStop location was a mixed experience. Upon entering, I was greeted—rather rudely—by a male employee wearing glasses who appeared to be rearranging merchandise or working on a reset. His attitude was dismissive, and his behavior gave the impression that customer presence was more of an inconvenience than a priority. Additionally, the way items were being moved around presented a minor safety concern.
However, the experience was turned around thanks to a young woman on staff who truly went above and beyond. Her professionalism, attentiveness, and willingness to help made a huge difference. Because of her effort and excellent customer service, I ended up making several purchases I likely wouldn’t have otherwise.
While the interaction with the male employee was disappointing, I sincerely appreciate the outstanding service provided by the young woman. She was the saving grace of the visit, and her dedication deserves recognition. I hope management takes note—both for improvement and...
