DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE..... HIBACHI GRILL SUPREME BUFFET LOCATED IN MISHAWAKA WE DID NOT ADD A TIP BECAUSE WE USUALLY LEAVE THE MONEY ON THE TABLE, THEY TOOK IT UPON THEIR-SELVES $34.20 +$6.84 =$41.04 Which is exactly what we got charge.... watch your money or have it come straight to your phone.... the manager tried to blame the bank but in all reality we swipe this card and I have my own card same card company and they do not charge a service fee of the EXACT tip amount as that Hibachi Grill.... The manager kept cutting me off and trying to blame the bank charging us the amount of the 20% tip amount.... and that place you pay before you eat... I don't care if it was $1.... the only receipt they give you is the one you sign which you see in the first picture... they do not give you one after you have paid.... he printed that one off yesterday and said we needed to contact our bank about the over charge.... the bank is not going to charge their tip amount as a service charge or what ever he was trying to say... he wants me to drive an hour to get a refund on the over charge amount? I told him to keep it and we wouldn't be back and that I was going to expose what they are doing....

I havnt lived in the area since 2016 but would eat here quite often when I did. I stuck to only a few items that I trusted were fresh and would always request to get habachi fried rice made for me in a clean wok in the kitchen and not on the hibachi grill (because it didn’t look clean plus I don’t eat pork so don’t want my food touching a surface that has touched pork). I appreciated that they always accommodated my request. The few items I usually had (the salt and pepper shrimp on the shell, habachi rice made custom, green beans, shrimp dishes) were good but I wouldn’t trust the others. The oysters were not good. The sushi was a hit or miss and sometimes the area look unhygienic. Especially the seafood sitting out in the salad bar—it just looks old and stale. Even the desserts look kinda stale so I’d always have the fresh fruit. The staff can come off as a bit rude. This place could defiantly use some improvements. Over all it’s ok if you stick to fresh items.

Habachi Grill offers a variety of American and Asian Cuisine. Including buffet, grill, salad bar, seafood, and sushi. There’s a huge variety of food although I don’t know if there’s many vegetarian options aside from the salad bar. I don’t wander over too much into the American Cuisine but I can rave about the Asian Cuisine. 3 different kinds of rice, lo mein noodles, 4 or 5 different kinds of chicken (Habachi, black pepper, lemon, General Tso's Chicken, and one more I can’t remember the name of. The breaded chicken can be kind of hard. My favorite are the green beans, they are cooked in oil l which makes them long and crunchy, I could eat an entire plate of alone. They have 4 Asian soups (hot and sour, clear, mushroom, and egg drop). There’s seafood (including lobster and crab legs), 6-10 types of cake, ice cream, fresh fruit, and my favorite part the sushi. There’s normally about 12 different kinds (6 of which I have photographed).

Never, ever again will I give this place my business. We took my grandmother there for her 90th birthday because she loves buffets. I felt I was overcharged, asked for an itemized receipt, and was ignored. Two adults, a 4-yr old, and my birthday gal was just short of $39. According to the website, adult prices are $11.99 on a Tuesday night and a four-year-old is $5 95. My Grandmother's meal should have been free per the website.. I also had a coupon printed off of their website for $4 off per person if 2 soft drinks are purchased. When you add three drinks at $3 each (cost is a guess) and 7% tax, the total should have been just under $31. Maybe they didn't honor their own coupon. The amount I paid for the food is not as important as being overcharged or misled with their advertising. The food itself is another issue. Cold foods were closer to room temperature and hot foods were lukewarm overcooked and dried out. The self-serve hand-dipped ice cream on their dessert bar is unsanitary at best. But what really sealed my opinion was that I asked for and received a small carryout box for the little bit of uneaten salad and two shrimp that I decided to take home. As we were leaving I was stopped and told that I had to pay for the carryout buffet that I was taking with me. So I paid money to put as much food as I wanted on my plate and eat all I wanted. But they wanted me to pay for the food in the carryout container even though I did not fill the container directly from the buffet as one would if ordering a Buffet To Go. How absurd. Needless to say I left my container of leftovers with them. Nothing about this place made for a nice birthday dinner for my grandmother except for the fact that it...

DONT EAT HERE!! I unfortunately agree with all the bad reviews!! In our experience The staff were lovely but the place is pretty darn gross!!!! Chicken bones on the floor … bugs on the food! The dessert looked like vomit !! The food is swimming in grease and tastes terrible!! Half the food isn’t even labeled! They use pen and paper to label other things! Trash!!! The sriracha bottles didn’t work cuz they all were clogged in the lid and sticky and dirty!!! If you’re wondering how they can have such variety for such a low price …. It’s because it’s the lowest of the lowest of the lowest garbage quality food ever! They throw in imitation crab in a tub and add grease and heat it up ! They throw in tiny frozen shrimp in tub and and msg for taste ! They put random spaghetti with grease out and mash potatoes and Mac and cheese and frozen horrendous pizza in the kids section ! How is this place still going ?? We were praying we didn’t get food poisoning in the car on the way home ! NEVER AGAIN!!! I came home and my face burned up flushing sooo badly from the msg and whatever NASTY NASTY terrible ingredients are in this food! I know Chinese food has msg but this place must have it times a million! I wish I hadn’t wasted $40 here!!! We tipped the host and the waitress as they were lovely and it’s not their fault the place is a dump! Wish I had take pictures so nobody else wastes their money!! This place should be called “BACTERIA...

Pains me as someone who has worked in the service industry for my whole life to complain but this was not a pleasant visit at all..Havent been to hibachi in a long time took my nephews tonight which is a Monday night, the service was not good, all be it a buffet and the servers dont do much besides fill up our drinks but she took forever to fill my refill and never filled my nephews drinks and that's not the worst part the food stations were not clean and looked dirty a slice of pizza sat on the floor for an hour with nobody cleaning it.. the food looked like it had been sitting out for hours and almost everything I tried besides the sweet and sour chicken was cold and not good.. we were there for around an hour and the sweet and sour ran out for like the last 40 mins and they didn't fill that once with employees walking around on phones cleaning and trying to get out of there opposed to taking care of the food and customers while there's still an hour or so left open its like nobody cared and there was no standards at all.. Complete waste of 50 bucks... probably wont ever come back and wouldn't recommend, maybe on a weekend they'd be more attentive to food and quality but I...
