This is a nice open field/space great for outdoor events. The Mardis Gras tree is gorgeous so kudos to whoever decorated!! There is history here and it's right across from the museum which makes for a nice outing. We also saw scooters for rent right in front of this park. There is no playground but would be nice for a nice lunch in the park. I saw a family throwing football and there was still plenty of room for others to roam.

Great open space to throw a disc, kick a ball, or to let the kiddos run around after being at The Fort, on the Duck Boats, The Museum or Exploreum. We like playing bocce here! Parking can be tough on mornings when there are a lot of court hearings. Looking forward to the pavilions being built for phase II.

This park is the perfect picnic spot in the middle of downtown Mobile. I stopped by when they were doing some type of reinactment for a crowd. It’s centrally located so I parked there and walked around the rest of the city after checking out all the Mardi Gras themed statues.

While on a road trip from Colorado to Key West in February 2022, we checked out this park. It has a really nice display of Mardi Gras statues. We easily found street-parking on a Monday afternoon. The folks in the nearby History Museum of Mobile let use the restrooms.

If you take a walk through downtown Mobile don't miss this small park where you can learn a lttle bit about Mardi Gras. The Mobile History Museum is across the street. The Mobile Carnival Museum is a few blocks away, and a must-see museum!
