This is a nice open field/space great for outdoor events. The Mardis Gras tree is gorgeous so kudos to whoever decorated!! There is history here and it's right across from the museum which makes for a nice outing. We also saw scooters for rent right in front of this park. There is no playground but would be nice for a nice lunch in the park. I saw a family throwing football and there was still plenty of room for others to roam.

Great open space to throw a disc, kick a ball, or to let the kiddos run around after being at The Fort, on the Duck Boats, The Museum or Exploreum. We like playing bocce here! Parking can be tough on mornings when there are a lot of court hearings. Looking forward to the pavilions being built for phase II.

This park is the perfect picnic spot in the middle of downtown Mobile. I stopped by when they were doing some type of reinactment for a crowd. It’s centrally located so I parked there and walked around the rest of the city after checking out all the Mardi Gras themed statues.

This is a great spot to come on the weekends for some fresh air. Maybe during the week, although, I haven't been here during the week, so I can't say.

You can always take a walk around the park, walk around downtown, hit up Dauphin Street for the peanut shop or picnic in the park. Even with Covid-19 still lurking, the park is big enough to enjoy and social distance.

There's not much to do here but several people come here to take pictures. It's very popular for tourist and locals for pretty much any occasion because the backdrop is the RSA tower and the Riverview Renaissance.

Oh and this year, there's a Christmas tree. So get out there, in the park, and maybe I'll see you...

I wanted to have a feel for downtown Mobile on my way to New Orleans, so I made a brief stop here. The park seems a work in progress to me and feels unfinished, in the sense that the idea looks incomplete. Other than the sculptures in reference to the Mardi Gras, there is nothing really special about this place. No design or architectural features that makes it feel worth visiting. In five to ten minutes you can drive around, take a couple of pictures and be done. Downtown...

I rather too have been n the bienville square. The space was too small. Parking was horrible. Trying too pay a meter we missed the lighting of the tree. My babies was disappointed cause they missed it. Then the vendors was in places we had too go through crowds too get too& the lines was n the street trying too stand n line for stuff. It was awful. For them too have such a beautiful tree. Hope next yr. They put it back n the square. Hope too live too see it. I gives...
