Horrible Mother’s Day early dinner experience. I called a few days before Mother’s Day to set up a reservation for six people when asked what time I would like I asked for 6 PM the lady on the other end of the phone said oh no that will not work we’re not staying open that late we have a love lot of mothers that work here. I’m not sure why she asked me what time I wanted my reservation for when she had that sort of reaction. So I asked her what times did they have available she said 4 PM I said OK that will work so we showed up at 4 PM on Mother’s Day we were seated by a young man that for the rest of our dinner there proceeded to run up and down the staircase that was right behind our table which was very disruptive while we were trying to have a nice Mother’s Day dinner. We were seated for maybe 5 to 7 minutes when our waitress came over and asked if we were ready to order because the kitchen staff was ready to close up and start cleaning up for the night. in hindsight we should’ve left right then. We all rushed to get our orders in. We ordered a few drinks for the table they took a very long time to be delivered and by the time they were delivered they were extremely watered down one was a rum runner one was a blue Hawaiian that was just watered down tasting juice so we sent them back the bartender was very rude raised her voice so our table could hear her say do they want me to make them again in a very condescending way. Our food was delivered my mother-in-law‘s food was completely cold half of my husband‘s order was a raw burger And his order of crab claws was never even delivered. My Monte cristo looked like nothing I would ever expect anybody to eat it was a far cry from what a Monte Cristo should even look like, my daughters dinner was not edible we sent that back along with my Lunch lady sandwich. The Bartender again had something to say about us returning our food something to the effect of well I should’ve known when they return their drinks yada yada yada. Aside from the food and the drinks not been good the atmosphere was completely ridiculous there we were sitting there trying to have a nice Mother’s Day dinner when they were trying to close down the restaurant all around us. They were breaking down the front umbrellas my husband was almost hit in the head by the end of one of the umbrellas as they threw it behind the staircase which we were sitting right in front of they were sweeping the floor all around us they were bringing by carts of dirty plates and dishes from other tables and ran into my brother-in-law‘s chair with one. There was constant loud banging upstairs the entire dinner was just one disruptive experience as we were paying our bill the bus boy was literally standing at the end of our table waiting for us to get up so he could clean the table and they could leave. As soon as we walked out of the door the lights were turned off and the door was locked horrible experience we will never be back if I could give it zero stars I would. More stuff happened I just don’t even want to go into it...

There was so much that went wrong during our visit, but I’ll focus on the part that completely ruined the experience.
My fiancé and I came here on Easter Sunday, right after church. I called ahead to ask if we needed a reservation and was told we didn’t. So we showed up expecting a pleasant meal—but what we walked into was anything but.
The place was noticeably dirty when we arrived. What stood out immediately was a loud, obnoxious employee roaming the restaurant, cracking jokes, complaining about his job, and generally making a scene. It felt like he was just looking for attention. It was unprofessional and distracting, but I figured maybe he was about to clock out, so I tried to overlook it.
We chose to sit at the bar, but even there, the space was unkempt. Dirty plates from previous guests were left untouched, and no one bothered to clean the area. To make matters worse, the same loud employee gravitated to the bar but on the opposite end of us—this time mixing drinks for himself, then sitting down and drinking them. Whether he was working or just hanging out, I honestly couldn’t tell. Either way, it was completely inappropriate.
While we waited for our food, he kept inserting himself into everyone’s conversations, continuing to drink and talk loudly. It created a really uncomfortable atmosphere. Eventually, our food arrived, but the bartender left so quickly that I didn’t get the chance to ask for ketchup. My fiancé got up to grab some from a nearby table, and as he did, the same employee shouted sarcastically to the bartender, “I guess they have to get their own ketchup.” She mumbled something in response, and at that point, I started to feel really uneasy.
The worst moment came shortly after. My fiancé got up to use the restroom, which is located in the back of the restaurant. As he walked around the bar, the same employee—who, is a Black man—rushed over to the bartender and put his hands on her shoulders from behind, both of them leaning in to watch my fiancé walk away.
It was disgusting. Unprofessional. Completely disrespectful.
This person made what should’ve been a relaxing Easter meal into a deeply uncomfortable experience. I would not recommend this place to anyone unless they make serious changes—starting with that employee. You won’t be able to enjoy...
