I went here with my mom while I was visiting her. My meal was perfect. The fish was absolutely perfectly hot when it came out. It had more fish than breading unlike some other places you go where you get mostly breading and very little fish. It was very filling. I didn't like how it cost 70 cents to get a ranch sauce for my fries. Most other places don't charge for stuff like that. My mom kept boasting about the shrimp basket, saying how big the shrimp are there. I'm not sure what happened, but when she ordered the shrimp basket the shrimp were EXTREMELY small. Nothing like what she told me about. She wasn't happy but didn't feel like talking to management about it. She didn't want to be a bother. The bill ended up being roughly $80 for the meal pictured, my little sister's wings and fries, my mom's shrimp basket, and the crab or crawfish dip which was really good. (I can't really recall which it was). I don't really know I'd say that price was worth it. Not the worst experience though which is why I'm not rating it lower.

Stopped in Heroes for the first time in the mid afternoon. The place was pretty much empty as revealors readied themselves for the Mardi Gras parade. Service was good and the wait staff was friendly. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger with fries and okra. The okra and fries were so good it took five minutes for me to get started on the burger. With the accompaniment of a cold beer, the entire meal met my expectations. Post Script: I was offered and accepted a spoon full of my dining partners' red beans and rice. They were spectacular!

Came here after Joe Cain day and for the super bowl. Inside had over an hour wait, which was to be expected but was able to sit outside immediately. My date is from New Orleans and was impressed with the spice of the red beans and rice. I had the Gulf Shrimp and fries basket Even with the amount of people, the food came out super quick. Staff was pleasant The only drawback was there was only 3 sides: fries, Coleslaw and baked beans. Some kind of greenery would've been nice

Great food, and large portions. Waited a little while to receive food but it's fine because everything is cooked to order so it's fresh and hot when you get it. We went during Mardi Gras and even though it was packed out, our server made sure everything was perfect, our glasses always full, and that we were okay during our meal. Everyone was friendly and helpful, and was able to make our food exactly to our liking.
