Beautiful, clean and well organized Ulta with a super friendly staff, but the customer service was customer servicing a little too much. You can tell that they’ve been warned to keep an eye on everyone and minimize theft in the store so much so that it was a little cringe and super uncomfortable to shop the entire time in the store because we were being watched. My mother and I were in there looking at a couple of products and were approached more than a couple times if we needed help. One employee had a basket and would come and say “excuse me” and pretend to open up a shelf where we were standing and do NOTHING just to keep an eye out on us. As we were leaving the store I see one of the employees working in the front point to a customer by a shelf and motion to the same employee with the basket to watch the customer by the wall and that employee again ran up to where the person was and interrupted the customer as she was looking just to unlock a shelf and look in it just to keep an eye out on the customer that was minding her business and looking at the wall display. It doesn’t help that half your product is basically by the floor so if we want to look at a specific color or test a product we have to bend over and not be in your eyesight. Listen, not everyone is a thief…I get it your store may have had a lot of theft recently but come on now it’s not fair to make everyone shopping in there so uncomfortable. Before we left the store I told the cashier that “your customer service is so great but you really are making me feel like I’m thief or something” And she replied with “I’m sorry - we had miscommunication about having too many employees in the section you were in - we trust you don’t worry” like….what am I supposed to do with you trusting me AFTER I’m done shopping and had to deal with your overwhelming staff. Do better and just leave us alone unless I’m acting suspicious, leave me alone because theft predominately doesn’t happen 24/7...
Read moreI've done more than one pickup at this Ulta and today's experience was the worst. Something about the way I was looked at made me feel racially profiled. At first the cashier couldn't find my order so it "wasn't actually ready," and was ready to send me away. I placed my order under my name shown above, which I never had an issue with before here or at any store. I had all the information that proved I myself placed the order; email confirmation, text confirmation, app confirmation, all of it. But the cashier continuously refused to give me my order because it didn't match my ID, "she needs to come pick it up." "She is me," "well it has to match so. And I know for sure one of your items isn't available." My name shown above is a shorter version of the name on my ID. On top of that, who I'm assuming was the manager, was staring at me the entire time I was trying to get my order, I wasn't making a fuss or scene. Her eyes were just locked on me while she was on the phone with somebody. I told the cashier "forget it, I'll cancel it," and walked away to go grab the products off the shelf myself to purchase them but instead went back to my car to figure it out because she was giving me a hard time. I added my government name as an alternate pick up person, went back in and said, "I added my gov't name, can I please get my order now?" I had no attitude. "Oh she added you as an alternate? Nods wait a minute." Not only was she still treating me like I wasn't the person who placed the order, but she was also wrong about one of my products being out of stock considering it was in the bag.
I understand it's the holidays and some customers get rude, along with theft happening, but that doesn't mean you treat people like they're less and an inconvenience to you,...
Read moreI would really give 0 stars but I can’t. My mother and I had the most horrible experience here about and year and a half ago and I’ve decided it time to speak up about it. We went into this store looking for a perfume for my father. We couldn’t find it so my mom decided to ask an employee for help. When she asked her if she had the perfume the employee kept saying “what” acting like she didnt understand her. My mom doesn’t really know much English but you could clearly understand what she was saying. As she kept saying “what” she was laughing and I didn’t like that so I decided to ask and then she showed us. Once we went to the section a blonde lady who I assume was the manager at the time kept walking around near us staring at us which made us feel extremely uncomfortable. When we found the perfume and one of the alarms went off and she came up to us and asked us “what’s going on here” very rudely as if we were trying to steal it and gave us dirty looks. She then called over the security immediately which the security was the only nice one there! Once I explained to her that we were buying the perfume she grabbed it out of my hands aggressively and told us it would be at the cashier while giving us the most disgusting looks ever. She made my mother and I feel horrible. Ever since I’ve never stepped foot at this ulta or any ulta in general. All because of this women who mistreated us. I was only 15. After reading many reviews of people who have dealt with the same thing I am not afraid to talk about my side of the story. So if the same women that was manager in 2022 is still manager she really deserves to be fired for...
