Came across this park when we were exploring Yellowstone. Small little picnic park. We attempted to have lunch at the tables but when we parked we realized there were a dozen elk enjoying the park. So instead we ate our lunch on the tailgate while watching the elk from the parking lot. Fun experience. Also, a very cute town. We would've loved to explore it more.

We were there 10/2/2019. Snowed in Yellowstone that morning, but when we came out of the Roosevelt entrance had a nice surprise of elk herd against the green grass in this adorable little park. Wonderful day and this area seems to be much less crowded than Yellowstone. A nice place to take a breath!

Arch park is very beautiful and well maintained. It's a great spot to have a picnic, do some peaceful reading, or just enjoy the view of Gardiner and it's four legged inhabitants going about their daily business. You'll see elk, rabbits, and prairie dogs here as well as some beautiful birds if you watch the trees. There's also free WiFi for those who just want to hang out and a public restroom behind the library. I'd definitely recommend stopping by if you're in Gardiner, even if it's...

The arch park outside of Yellowstone is very quiet and not often visited compared to some of the other exhibits around Yellowstone, but we found elk and other wildlife in the area with very few tourists. As we walked around the park we were surprised that although we have been coming to Yellowstone for 20 years we had not stumbled across this park until this summer. Great place for quiet lunch just outside have the entrance...
