Painted Soul Arts — Attraction in Montclair

I had an idea of what I wanted my next tattoo to be (abstract, linear and black) and after doing some "homework" with respect to artists I came upon Çinar at Painted Soul Arts. I was super happy to find out he was in New Jersey (my home State) as I have traveled across the globe to get tattooed by some well known names. From start to finish, I could not be happier. I requested an appointment online, the process of which, was seamless. I received a message within 48 hrs and a link to schedule my consultation. Upon entering the studio I was truly impressed. A beautiful and open space, with equally as beautiful art hanging gracefully on the walls. After speaking with Çinar for a few minutes I knew I was in good hands. I was given the opportunity to either book my appointment right then and there or use their online system. I booked immediately and left a deposit via credit card (which is a plus as many studios are cash only). I arrived at the studio for my appointment a few days later, with Çinar showing me his interpretation of my "thoughts". It was beautiful. I couldn't wait to get started. After preparing the area he began his magic...and I truly mean magic. A few hours later, I could not be happier with my tattoo. It is beyond what I could have imagined. The artistry is incredible. After a few photos, a protective patch was applied and aftercare instructions given. Side note: Emma was also doing a tattoo on a gentleman's arm whilst I was getting tattooed. I tried not to be nosey but I couldn't help but notice how beautiful the design was. The detail of the tattoo was truly impressive. The artists at Painted Soul Arts are incredible. I recently had the pleasure of visiting Painted Soul Arts for the first time, and I must say, it was an experience to remember. From the moment I stepped through the doors, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality by the staff, who were not only kind but also incredibly helpful throughout my visit.

I have numerous tattoos but I've never been so pleased with any artist as I have been with Cinar and frankly wish that all my tattoos were by him. I found him on Instagram and loved his sketch style and thought it would be perfect for a tattoo of a ghost nun I wanted. When I met him and explained how I wanted it to be eerie and dark but not cheesy, he absolutely got it. He came up with three different designs for me to choose from and then executed the one I chose to perfection. I loved it so much it ended up becoming a sleeve that is now so dear to my heart and feels like part of my soul. He was so nice to collaborate with throughout the design process, has a really special style and truly creative and unique designs, and also his actual tattooing skills are impeccable. He has a really steady and light hand and all of my tattoos by him have healed beautifully and are crisp, with no scar tissue or anything of the sort. I've never had an artist capture my vision so well and then expand on it beyond what I could have imagined. I recommend Cinar for any tattoo but especially if you are interested in something haunting and with a dark theme his style is incredible for it, I've seen this also in work he's done on my best friend.
