Nice park to sit and look over the river... but often derelicts pass through and can be bothersome or even dangerous; if you look vulnerable. It's within blocks of the salvation army. A portionof the park stretches along across the street from a fairly new apartment complex, but otherwise looks very isolated from downtown, but within walking distance. It really needs some security guards patrolling the area. But, all in all, it provides a beautiful, relaxing view for lunching or sitting and chatting; even jogging from...

I have always liked this little park overlooking the river and railroad tracks. It's more family friendly than it once was with better fencing and updated facilities. The small playground and space for outdoor games is nice. Originally called overlook park it has some nice views. On the negative side there is a fair amount of trash people throw into the wooded hill beside it, and because of the area the city can't really clean it up efficiently. There is also some unsafe deck rot on some of the wooden decks so...

Calling it a park is generous, but it is quite a nice strip of grass accented by a few trees and benches, overlooking the river.

I spent about an hour here with my dogs one sunny afternoon in December. We picnicked on a blanket and shared some delicious bbq from Dreamland. Then we wandered along the path there. I wasn’t expecting it to be a bird watching outing, but a charming mockingbird watched us for most of our meal. And a cardinal came to join it for a bit. A lovely surprise.

I have always liked this little park overlooking the river and railroad tracks. It's more family friendly than it once was with better fencing and updated facilities. The small playground and space for outdoor games is nice. Originally called overlook park it has some nice views.
