As pissed as I am about this experience I'll keep this short and PG. On a trip through Montgomery I came to this establishment with some friends to catch up. I ordered a pizza which took over a hour for me to get and I had to ask for twice when I was able to get my server Romaines attention. When I was brought the check later I asked why the pizza was on there when it took that long to come out and I had to ask for updates on it. Then the manager Jadarion came by and only made the situation worse by not only refusing to take the pizza off the check and I told him they could take it and throw it out, but he also stated "I let you slide" when referencing the empty souvenir cups we had on the table from the restaurant down the street. If there was an issue with having these in the restaurant then why was nothing said about it until we've been there 2 hours and to try and justify the trash experience I had. I even went and asked security that was there as to why he didn't say anything and he himself even said he didn't know that was a policy but even if it was he wouldn't have anything to say about empty cups. The saving grace of Jadarion that night was that we were on a schedule and I didn't have anymore time to waste "then" on an altercation because the service, his handling of the situation, and his remarks in "letting us slide", which in itself is a line that could've made that night go even more left than it did. I have not been able to get in touch with any manager there via phone as of yet but I will be taking this to corporate and if I ever dare to step foot in there again would hope to see this...
Read moreFaced with the scant alternatives within walking distance, we spent some time at the Exchange while we were staying in the hotel in which it is located.
Laid-back ambiance, although it was pretty damned warm for Labor Day. Decent selection of draught beers. My beautiful lady and I each ordered a beer, which are served in plastic 16-ounce cups. Holy Hell! Two beers cost $18.71!!! I've never drank beer that expensive when nekkid women weren't involved.
There's a separate menu from the House restaurant inside the hotel, although we didn't eat anything. There were people sitting under the covered patio (the entire thing is covered, actually) eating and the food looked and smelled delicious, though.
A large crowd greeted us Sunday night after we wandered out after a great meal at the House inside. There wasn't an empty table available, so we reclaimed the same seats at the bar that we had occupied earlier in the afternoon. A guy with a guitar was playing a singing, at a pleasant noise level that didn't preclude conversing with my lovely lady.
Next time we're in Montgomery, we'll be back. Next trip, I'll ask about beer specials, because almost $9.50 for 16 ounces of draft beer...
Read moreWe have been coming into your establishment for years.. we took a break and came in two weeks ago. The service was mediocre but we understood. Well tonight was an absolute disaster!!! We got there, had to find someone to help us. All the waitresses were in a corner on their phones. Finally someone talked to us. Took our order and for us drinks…. Well after that we didn’t see her again for 60 minutes. We had to go to the bar from 5:15-6:15 … happy hour was until 6:00 so we were well aware when to order. She finally showed back up after around 56 minutes. She apologized but guess what? Left us again to go to the bar. Finally, after continuing to wait .. we asked to close. Our check was completely messed up. We had five people at the table. She NEVER asked who is on one check. She not only put all drinks on one tab but also didn’t give us the discount for the happy hour, why? Because we were left alone for the last hour of happy hour. For five people with no food was $139 no “extravagant drinks. We were over charged for beer and the happy hour discount wasn’t applied!!! We are Montgomery business owners and this is not...
