Railroad Thai — Restaurant in Montgomery

I had lunch with my friend in this restaurant like few weeks ago, we entered the restaurant and one of the crew was welcoming us nicely,we sat and the waiter start poured the water and taking the order,but when we asked about the menu the waiter wearing glassis the one who taken care of us was so very rude,we stil ok about his behavior,then finaly we relaized he so rude only to both of us coz we are not local people,he was so nice to the other costumer.we ordered 2 combo fried rice and he brought only one,then we asked for onother one,and he look so upset coz we called him for the second time,that was his faulth coz he was not repated our order whichis standard of sequence of service,even he didn't come to our table to asked was everything is ok,like he did to the other table.at the end we asked for our bill by called him and he answer by his own lenguage with his rude body lenguage,was mean wait,and we wait for like 3 minute only for our bill,this guy,the waiter with the glasses so very rude.and we are feel sory for his behavior,he is not like professional waiter.we still gave him...

My first visit to this location. I had previously visited Lek’s Taste of Thailand several times but decided to try this location. Knowing they would be busy, we tried to order ahead but they don’t allow that so we made a reservation a couple days prior for a party of 8. When we arrived we were promptly seated and we placed our lunch order. It took 40 minutes to get our meals. The entire time our server was not attentive and never once gave us an update on our order nor asked if we needed anything. Once our food arrived, it was very tasty as expected but the lunch portions are very small (see photo). I knew they automatically charge 18% gratuity for groups of 6 or more so I figured our server felt she didn’t need to do anything to earn her tip. If you plan to go here for lunch you should plan to be there for at least an hour if you made a reservation or at least 1.5 ~ 2 hours if you didn’t. I want to start with the positive, Beautiful restaurant, once you're inside you wish you could be there all day, wonderful atmosphere, you can tell some work went into it. Second, the service was incredibly professional, courteous, and quick.

Sadly, they could not overcome 2 aspects, that is first parking. I didn't know where I was supposed to park until I had already parked and reached the door, and even then I didn't know really where I was supposed to park. I had to park a block away and walk there, which is fine for a large metropolitan city, but Montgomery Alabama???

Still, that was a minor inconvenience, the second aspect was the food itself. Tasteless, bland, not at all what I was expecting from the look of the restaurant. I had got the Masumen Curry and it was disappointing. The only thing I could compliment is their clear sweet and sour sauce.
