Showplace Market — Attraction in Moore

Came in here the other day with my sister and I was in love! I was seeing items left and right that I fully intended on coming back for when I started my Christmas shopping but I doubt I will ever return. We intended on mainly just browsing and maybe buying a thing or two if we saw something we just had to have but we were mainly just browsing and having a good time checking out all the booths. Well we had been there about 20 minutes and I start noticing these ladies just kind of awkwardly lingering. Took me a very short amount of time to realize they were the ladies I saw at the front desk when we came in and they were following us around the store pretending to be customers because they thought we were stealing, I would assume anyways. Not once did they act like they worked there by asking us how we were doing or if we needed help finding anything. They were legitimately acting like they were shopping and one lady was even taking candles and wax melts and smelling them like she was actually browsing and shopping and like we didn’t see her at the front desk when we came in and like we didn’t see her side eyeing us and staring at us and lingering around while we browsed. I parked in a parking spot right behind the dispensary in front of this store because there were no cars there so I assumed it was closed. As I was leaving the dispensary I came out to my car to see an angry looking dark haired woman that works there fast walking towards me she said do you work there and I said no, she then asked me “do you shop there” I said I do and that’s when her whole demeanor switched towards me she was very rude I felt like she was trying to intimidate me as she was saying YOU can not park here I said well okay and she responded with a yeahhh okay don’t park here again, very uncomfortable interaction never see a grown woman act like that in my life!!! now the showplace is a very cool store overpriced but very cool I will give them that but when you walk in it’s just all judgement it’s very...

A very fun shopping experience overall. Very welcoming with a lot of comfortable seating, a coffee shop, and relaxed environment. I love the concept of buying local, but as already mentioned in other reviews, some of the vendor booths are filled with marked up merchandise that is definitely not local. But there is definitely a lot of really cool finds, and not as expensive as I expected! Also, the cashier was very friendly, but she was the only staff member that even spoke to us. Three staff members and two vendors walked past us without any acknowledgment, and I really dislike that. Worth checking...
