I had a simple request - an inexpensive DOUBLE bed mattress, box springs and bolt on rails for headboard and foot board for an old iron bed. I received (initially) none of these. My grandson went to pick up the order and was given what turned out to be rails for a queen/king and TWIN mattress and box springs. He noticed the difference and we were able to pay the difference via the phone and get doubles. The mistake on the rails was not noticed immediately and we set up the bed before we noticed they were too long. I called and was advised the correct rails would be delivered the next day. There was a delivery however it was for a FRAME not rails and there was no bolt on for the foot board. I was told the correct rails would be delivered in a day or two. Two days later I called and learned they were scheduled to be delivered in two more days! I was NOT happy and said I would drive to the warehouse and pick up the rails. When I arrived the stock man brought out the FRAME again without the bolt on for the foot board. It took quite a bit of explaining to get the correct rails but we finally did and I am grateful. So as it turns out the salesman wrote up the wrong size mattress and box springs and I did not 'catch' the mistake because the receipt was handed to me after the purchase and signature on the credit card device. (silly but some how you just expect the salesman to write up the item you requested). The rails for queen / king and twin / double have the same numbers. The salesman was, in my opinion, too concerned with the other customers (which is appropriate to at least recognize them, I get it) and the stock people just need to be educated regarding the sizes. All in all it was a hassle I don't care to repeat. I will say the customer service lady, Madison, was extremely helpful and considerate and 'got the job done' and for that I am thankful. Read moreI think was a disaster since the first time I tried to pick up my purchased item. My sales girl was great, but the rest of the experience was bad. The distribution center said the wrong parts were present when I tried to pick them up. Went the following week to pick up the correct items, and it was the same package and did not fit in my truck. So they said they would deliver it for me. The delivery guys came and had me take my bed apart and then they laid the two pieces of the adjustable bed down. They did not have all the hardware and the feet to complete the install. They left my master bed apart and they said they would be back that afternoon. I received a call from a service advisor to check up on how the delivery went, I explained the previous. He said he would call me back, but never did. I called at 6:40pm wondering when my bed would be complete. The supervisor told me a part was on order and they didn't know when it would come in. They said there was nothing she could do about it. Finally got a hold of someone on Saturday morning that said they found all the parts I needed to complete the delivery. Did i mention that i had my small daughter help me move that huge bed frames out of my bedroom because I needed somewhere to sleep. And I still believe the top piece of my bed is a used part. But you said you would give me free extended warranty. . They finally sent some other delivery guys that were very professional and took care of me. Read moreIf I hadn't been there knowing exactly what I wanted and had already done my research and legwork, I would have probably left and just bought from anywhere else. It was our second visit to this location. The first time not one person got up from the desk to offer assistance, which I didn't mind but found odd since we were the only people there. We were in and out finding what we liked in the brands offered. The second time, ready to purchase, we only had questions about what the mattresses came with and the additional things they had for purchase. Both salespersons did answer questions but honestly did so in a manner that made it clear to us, this sale was not worth the time or effort, also laughing at us for asking one question. He did make a point to tell us we were buying a cheaper bed in the showroom (weird flex, but okay.), but I also purchased a $160 pillow so I get you believe I'm cheap, but we made our choice for a specific reason and it shouldn't matter what I buy or why. Just my opinion based off my experience. I hope it was just a case of a blah day. Edited to add: I opted to pick up at distribution center in OKC and as instructed, we called before leaving, and first person said our stuff was in Moore and not available until 6 days later. We confirmed and reconfirmed we were supposed to pick up in OKC. Finally had to get a 2nd person on the phone who then said it was in OKC for pick up. I guess you get 2 choices at Mathis, rude...
