Jewelers On Main — Attraction in Mooresville

My wife ask me if I could have a pair of gold and diamond earrings modified. She inherited them from her mom. The posts were too large and we were not sure if the posts were gold. New to the area, I had no idea where to take the earrings, so I went online, read some reviews and decided to stop in Jewelers On Main. I was greeted by Nick and I explained to him what my wife was looking to do. He took the earrings, looked at them under his scope and said, the post were in fact gold. I expected to to leave them and pick them up in a week. Nick said, I can have this done in 15 minutes. I was surprised and elated. He also said asked if i wanted the old posts and backings, or they would credit me for the weight of the old posts and backings. Again, a nice surprise. I took a walk up Main Street checking out the other stores and returned in 15 minutes. Nick was cleaning the earrings as i walked in. Ashley took care of the sales transaction and asked if this was a gift. I replied yes it was and she promptly said, "let me wrap them for you". A few minutes later, she returned with them in a box with wrapping paper and a small decorative bag. I was blown away by the service I received. We came to Jewelers on Main looking for a way to hopefully turn my new engagement ring into what I had originally envisioned. Due to a change on my part in the shape and size of the diamond when I originally purchased it (from a different jeweler), it originally turned out different from what I had anticipated and was expecting. Apparently cushions, which I love, are not always easy to accommodate, or at least, not with the look I was wanting and expecting! Alan and Katie went to work, and made it look exactly like what I had in mind originally. We were only changing the mounting, but I was so impressed with the time Katie took doing the most precise measurements, several different renderings, tweaking them and sending me different angles, etc. to view them from. It was a small change that some people might not even notice, but it was a big thing to me, and that is exactly how they approached it. They saw my vision, and made it happen! Now it looks like a "complete" ring, and everything flows together so beautifully! And everyone on the staff has been so welcoming and friendly, so good to work with! This place is hands down the BEST service place to go for jewelry repair. I was really upset because my favorite and most important necklace to me was broken after tugging it and I called around to see where I can get it fixed. The person who answered the phone was so kind and explained they can fix it on the spot. She was super friendly and professional over the phone. I came in to get it fixed by Alan and he was AMAZING!!! He explained how he will fix it (showing me under the microscope of where the broken link is) and was very detailed and thorough. He fixed it like it never happened and even gave me advice on how to handle my adjustable chain so it doesn’t happen again. He was extremely friendly, honest, even gave me back the piece of gold chain that needed to be cut to have a fresh link to work with. This place is the place to go!!! The service price is affordable as well. I called different places and they were way overpriced and told me i’d have to ship my necklace to get it fixed.
