A very interesting replica of an old 11th century Norwegian church. The tour is very interesting and the quality of construction and attention to detail is very impressive. I didn't think I would be interested in a 1990s replica, but I found the tour very informative and fascinating, and the quality of work is excellent. Highly recommend the tour. Also gives you admission to see the Viking ship replica as well. You must get a museum ticket to go on the tour, but you do not need a ticket to see the exterior...

The guide was entertaining and highlighted all the key features of the building and its history. It was fun to be able to wander around outside the building after the tour was over as well. Great spot for photos and LOTR...

We were NOT aware that you couldn't wander the wrap around the area, and loud alarms...
