Sidestreet Grille & Pub — Restaurant in Fargo

I picked this place from prior experiences with great food however the service today was terrible. We waited for our menus after seating ourselves. The first drinks came out and the third drink was ordered with the food order and was forgotten. After 15 minutes, walked to the bar to get the beer. Our appetizer never came out. When we got our food i requested the appetizer to which I was told, “it was coming” ok fine. Additional silverware was then requested he walked back to the kitchen and came back. Still no appetizer. I kindly requested the app be taken off my bill. The server never came back to our table. We wanted another round of drinks but decided we weren’t going to walk to the bar again for that. Lastly, another employee came to our table and gave us our bill as our original bartender/server never came back to our table. The establishment was not busy enough for this lack of service. We watched the server walk around and clean off tables and keep himself busy but unfortunately was not attentive to our table. The...

I used to love this place. The familiar faces on staff, the great tap selection, and the atmosphere was made whole with the great quality of the food menu, making it well-rounded so you could have a party there with friends on a Saturday night or come for a relaxed lunch on a Sunday afternoon. I normally eat vegetarian, but their Raspberry Chipotle boneless wings have been something I always made an exception for. I had them for lunch today for the first time in months and it was awful in comparison to my past experiences. The quality of the wings is 1/4 the quality they used to be. It was chicken weakly breaded and shaped like big tater tots. Rather than being able to order by weight, you now order by amount of wings and get half the quantity for the same price. The sweet potato fries came out in a big clump that looked and tasted like a funnel cake with the sauce they provided. All served in paper baskets rather than the plastic ones they used to come in. They seem to have completely given up on their kitchen....

If I could give 0 stars I would. Horrendous service, and that’s coming from someone who has worked in the service industry. Our waiter literally yelled at us the second we walked in, telling us that we CANNOT move two tables together without asking the bar first (despite it being incredibly dead and all of us having sat at those exact tables pushed together prior) and that we “would never do that in a person’s house so here is no different” and that other restaurants and bars won’t allow it either so we need to keep it in mind as a rule of thumb from here on out. He continued to be extremely disrespectful and rude after that as well. He referred to every woman at the table as “girl” (in context: “here’s your drink, girl.”), didn’t bring drinks despite charging us for them and then never apologized for it, etc. Worst service I’ve ever had at any restaurant or bar in town.
