I purchased a gift card for my daughter in law at Christmas 2017and she tried to use it this summer and the amount was null and void. I went to outlet office and asked why money wasn’t still on card and the attendant told me that they are only good for one year then the amount gets less and less each month until nothing is left. I had purchased gift cards before from the outlet center and they always had no expiration. They used to be a paper certificate. When they went to plastic, I guess that’s when it changed. However when I purchased the plastic gift card, I asked the attendant in the outlet office whether it expires. She said “No”. I now know the paper work with card says that it does expire. But no one purchases a gift card and reads the fine print before purchasing. I went by what the attendant said. I don’t know why they would promote or use such a product like this gift card. I’d like to know where my $25.00 went??? If I give cash and get a gift card, that money should always be there. What a rip-off! So beware shoppers, DO NOT PURCHASE THE OUTLETS GIFT CARDS!! Read moreI’m not sure which were worse the lantern bugs or the stink bugs. Both flew in and around you the entire time you were outside. Both covered every pole, doorway, car etc. you walked past. It gave me creepy crawlies the entire time there, and both looked to be at their largest size. There were every color of the lantern bugs alongside the stink bugs. I know it’s nature but ruined my all day trip, weather was beautiful!! On the flip side I never really went into a store and saw anything that screamed outlet stores. I just felt like I was at an outside Mall. The prices did not reflect where we were. First time I ever went shopping and came home empty handed. I didn’t think anyone wanted to see pics of bugs all over everything so I decided not to take any. I could of taken pictures of all the price tags to prove my point. I’ll just go back to my regular outlets...
Read moreWhen going to the outlets, you'll find anything you can imagine, but bring some walking shoes and check the weather, cause it's outdoor walking from store to store. This is great for my family and I because our kids can get excited and it can be overwhelming. Being able to walk outside allows them to get that energy out, gets us all some fresh air, and as a bonus, YOURE EXERCISING! If you're 21 or older, I highly recommend stopping in at Jack's Hard Cider. They have a nice selection of alcoholic ciders that will have you feeling nice and refreshed, but won't get you too drunk you can't function. (Unless you hang out there for a while.) The Beef Jerkey Outlet was one of our favorites also, with tons of samples and more flavors of beef jersey than you even knew existed. Priced are great and it's tax free! Go check it out, you won't be...
