Wegmans — Attraction in Mount Laurel Township

I had an AMAZING experience here this morning! First let me say I’m the biggest procrastinator I know however, Mary Ann at the bakery came to save the day 🫶🏾 I had been thinking of doing something to celebrate my boss 6year anniversary at our company and while I knew I would get a cake I had no idea what kind. However the ultimate white cake ALWAYS saves the day. So at 3:00pm yesterday, I had a bright idea of ordering a custom ultimate white cake but learned that it must be within 24hrs 🙃. My next plan was stop by really quick on my way to work and than just search the isle for a cake box instead of the plastic lid with the price sticker. Upon arrival, I was greeted by MaryAnn (she greeted me first, I had to point that out cause I’m big on customer series). I asked if they had edible flowers and she explained that they did not however if I would have ordered (which I knew already) ahead of time, they could’ve decorated it. No biggie. I then agreed to have her write out happy anniversary. Listen I’m assuming to be waiting maybe 2-3mins most and have my cake returned in a lid like ALWAYS…..well Ms Mary Ann suggested that I shop around should I please and informed me that my cake would be ready soon as she will place it in the counter when complete. Already late for work, I told her I didn’t mind and would stick around. I peep over to see if she was almost done and saw that she had retrieved a new cake box for me and printed a new price sticker🥹 I’ve never had this kind of service for a non custom cake at Wegmans, like ever! She then asked I was comfortable with the sticker b ing on the cake and suggested to place it on a napkin so that the cake box was presentable!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ This is CUSTOMER SERVICE! This is the hardest reviews I have written so far. Why? Because this store is so awesome! Ok. The building itself is a stand out by design town square look complete with steeple/watch tower feature. Not only is this store visible from the street, due to the way RT 38 runs, the steeple/watch tower feature is visible from the Moorestown area of RT 38. The shopping center that Wegmans is located in, is large and has many chain stores and restaurants anchored by Wegmans, Target, and Costco. The parking lots are large, free, and handicap friendly. All stores are also handicap friendly and most if not all have restrooms. Note: even with as much parking that is available front of Wegmans, at peak times you have a little walk car to door. Also note: traffic is generally crazy. The atomosphere of the store is friendly, warm and inviting. The store offers a large selection of everything grocery, veg./fruit market, deli, butcher, bakery, liquor store, cafe, pharmacy and more. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, check out at time of my visit (peak) was quick and cashier was nice/friendly. All this and the prices are very competitive, some of the things I purchased met/beat Walmart! I actually enjoyed grocery shopping. What! I could not recommend Wegmans enough, it's a go to if you are in the area...

By far the worst Wegmans that I've ever been too. My wife and I just moved to South Jersey from the Princeton area. We used to go exclusively to the Princeton Wegmans and loved it. Whenever we went the staff was warm, friendly, and helpful.

Our experiences at the Mt. Laurel Wegmans has been anything but! The store is confusing and the layout has items seperate. There's always a gross smell by the flower department, probably because they put it in the back of the store instead of the front to get better ventilation. & The staff is just plain rude whenever we try to ask questions. Also the liquor section is a disorganized mess. Why on earth is the liquor in a complete sperate section? Why do I have to pay for any liquor seperate from my groceries? I had a container of cream cheese and a 6 pack of beer. A cashier really made me wait in the liquor line, pay for only the beer, and refused to check out the cream cheese! I had to go wait in another line to do that!

Wegmans of Princeton simply uses the same cashiers for everything! No need for a seperate process! This place is very obviously mismanaged. I don't recommend it to anyone.
