Mount Vernon Library Commons — Attraction in Mount Vernon

Very awesome Library. Lots of books. Able to check out dvds and I think audio books. They have some private sound proofed rooms for studying.

Teen room with a switch gaming system. Books and related stuff for 12 - 19 year olds.

They also have another big room for the kids section. Lots of people have been bringing their kids to visit.

They got filtered water stations, so I go pretty often to refill my water bottles there. Restrooms are nice and they got family rooms as well.

Technically they have like a very very small convention size on the other side of the library. I was told it can technically hold a small wedding, presentation room. A professional kitchen as well to rent out.

The building is beautiful but I've never been able to go to the library with my husband because you guys are closed on Sundays, close early Saturdays, and only open until 6PM every other day.

Every other library I've been to is open until at least 8PM. I'm sure students and working adults would be thrilled to have later hours to enjoy this new building for research and reading.

I hope someday the hours change to be more accessible...

It is difficult-to-impossible to apply for jobs when downloading one's own resume has been disabled. You have to bring or ask for a USB stick.

The bathroom pin could also be posted on a sign to be more inclusive.
