I wish I could speak to the quality of the chocolate, however, I didn't get any during my visit. I was in town for the Tulip Festival and thought it was an appropriate excuse to spend probably too much on some chocolate. When I arrived at the shop, there was a large group ahead of me. It took the employee over five minutes to even acknowledge I walked in. The group was being extremely indecisive, and instead of seeing if I knew what I wanted or if I had any questions, the employee kept speaking with them. The store can't control their customers, but they can still be courteous to other guests. Once they finally kind of decided what they wanted, he seemed to have no concern for the multiple other people in line, as he slowly picked out their items. After almost 15 minutes waiting, I just walked out, anticipating it would be at least 10 minutes more given the groups' continued back and forth. I noticed I was not the first customer to do this, either. When the group began ordering, many of their questions were about prices, as they had multiple items they brought up and put back, so it seems much of this could be solved by just labeling this on the shelves (I also had questions on price). It is not "fancy" to make customers guess how much they're going to be paying or having to put back items because they're more than anticipated. I'm disappointed I did not get to try any of the award winning chocolate, however, after the experience, I doubt I will try again next time...

But after I signed up I learned that I had to use that discount before the end of the month. Well, that sounds reasonable. But, we left the store and walked around town for a while. And I thought I could just use the coupon before I left town. I was told that it started the next day. I did say I lived quite a ways away and don't make it into town that often. Sadly, that didn't make a difference. So, I think to remedy this they should take phone and shipping orders (My understanding is that they do not do this... My husband loved the tasmanian pepper and lime dark bar. The thing they fall short on is their truffles... I've tried several kinds of truffles at many different times separated by months.
