Fabulous food, absolutely delicious! My wife and I went to a Korean BBQ in the Philippines in 2019 and it was amazing. That's what gave me the idea to go here when I came across it one day while I was working. Initially we were going to go about 2 weeks ago but turned out they were doing a remodel. Finally they opened and the wife was so excited to go.  Some might say it was a little on the pricey side but things like this are treats plus we got fillet mignon, marinated rib eye and shaved brisket to start. I don't think it was too bad considering what we got. From what i understand this is a family owned business. The staff was VERY attentive to the customers. They were always checking on us. They made sure that our grill was changed promptly if it started getting food burnt on it as we cooked. The waiter came  and apologized for it taking so long to get our food. I didn't think we had been waiting that long but he offered us each a complementary soda. We accepted. Right behind him a waitress apologized for the long wait for the food again and gave us an appetizer plate of 10 Gyoza with sauce on the house for the wait. YUUUM. 3 minutes after that, our food arrived. I think we waited maybe 20 minutes for our main food. I've seen well known fast food chains take longer. All in all excellent food, excellent service, courteous staff. I told the waiter that it was only missing one thing. He said what's that. I said, in the Philippines they had a cheese ring on the bbq. I said it would be perfect with the cheese ring full of melted cheese. He said he was trying to get that. This restaurantis a nice treat in a nice environment.

Some satisfyingly good Korean food. Restaurant is pretty large and has Korean BBQ and "regular" tables for individual dishes and the like. BBQ is best for a group probably because it can be spendy but is good either way. Individual dishes are great. Dolsot Bibimbap in a scorching hot stone bowl, remember to start stirring it up immediately or it will burn! I love that they give you a big bottle of sauce to use in it, most Korean restaurants jist give you a little dish or have some amount already mixed in, but here you can use as much as you desire and that is amazing! Beef bone broth (Seolleongtang) has the nice stickiness of of marrow goodness and comes out literally boiling hot with pieces of beef inside, I mixed my rice into the broth and let it soak up some liquid until it was cool enough to eat, was nice.. Kimchi pancake was a good size and well prepared, I want to try the seafood one next time. Chap chae was good as well, with many little dishes to go around, didn't ask for more because we were quite satisfied with portions of everything else. Also has Sapporo beer on tap. Will certainly be visiting again.

My family and I stopped by here on our way out of Mt. Vernon after seeing the tulips, and I am so thankful we happened to stumble upon this gem, because it was absolutely DELICIOUS. The kimchi pancakes were out of this world—they melted in my mouth, and each slice seemed to taste better than the one before. I ordered the dolsot bibimbop, and it was brought out sizzling hot. The rice at the bottom got reeeeaaalll crispy by the time I got to it, and it hit the spot. All the sides were great (loved the potatoes most of all), and refillable! I’ve also discovered a newfound, burning passion to the hot barley tea they serve here, to which I will certainly be addicted. Huge bonus points for the awesome waiter as well! Not only was he extremely friendly, but enthusiastic and eager to answer all our questions, offer our suggestions, and check in when we needed something. Would definitely come back if I’m ever back in the area!

(Nov 1, 20) WOW from friends! So We decided to go to this place for a BD dinner. It’s a BIG mistake! I called ahead to reserve a table and the waitress said ‘it’s going to be slow Sunday so there will be a table for us’ I was like Sweet! We got there at 5pm and we were the second table. Awesome! I ordered the B4 combo BBQ and 2 Soo Doo hot pots.

When the waitress came back for the 4 glasses of water and the side dishes, I wanted to order hot tea for for us and to find out....

1/ NO BODY making beverages today, she said. Hint ...slow Sunday DUH! 2/ The plastic glasses for water are old with scratched marks so they look oily dirty 3/ the BBQ meats are not as expected in any Korean BBQ I have ever been. They are small portions and not fresh. LA Ribs are superb chewy. Slides of beef collapsed down like they’ve been out on the dishes forever, a few slides of mushroom are withered and brown. WTH! 4/ Side dishes are not fresh; they must been on their dishes in morning/night before or even longer. 5/ the place getting crowded (SURPRISED) so the ONLY waitress is running her butt around from phone calls, Togo orders, cashier, table cleaning...etc. 6/ The Soo Doo hot pots were like they are from left over. AND the bowls for us to eat the soup with were not cleaned and smell like old wet socks. I was the last one to go for the soup and just to find out my bowl still got old food stuck dry in it. Scallions and some red color strip thingy (carrots maybe). OMG!

I had only a few pieces of meats entire dinner. We felt awful and horrible after finding out my soup bowl with old foods stuck in and smelled. We stopped eating at once! Definitely not coming back. I let the waitress know but I tipped her because I felt sorry for her since she was the only one there beside the ONLY chef...

This was by far the worst service I have ever had at a restaurant. I've eaten here multiple times and I used to love it, however this visit was terrible. One of our waitresses was fantastic and it was only her third day there, the other was awful. We had to ask multiple times for utensils even after being served our food and it took her close to 30 minutes to give us anything to eat with, and she still forgot a set of utensils for one of our party. She forgot half of our order and we had to ask she bring it to us and it took her another twenty minutes to bring it out. When we ordered drinks she forgot and then proceeded to tell us they were out of what we had ordered after waiting for twenty minutes. We were not waited on at all by her unless we specifically got up and asked for it. When I walked to the front to ask for utensils yet again the man at the counter proceeded to make fun of me as soon as I walked away. Our waitress as well as the man were clearly stoned and were not doing there jobs at all. They also shut the lights off on us when we were in the middle of our meal. Our waitress forgot our waters as well and we never received any water the entire time we were there. The only saving grace to this visit was the brand new waitress who was taking care of us as well as the few other guests, essentially she was running the whole show. Would not recommend, there are plenty of other better Korean BBQ places that are worth your...
