The art and the gallery was great. As a fellow local artist, I enjoyed the art exhibit. The gallery is clean and the exhibit displayed appropriately. However, on the way out, we encountered a very rude and aggressive employee. There was confusion with the sign about masks. It stated that, in order to shop in the store, one had to wear a mask. There was no such directive about the gallery, aside from max capacity of 13 people. Our group was in number of three. We respected that and waited to go inside. When we did go in, there were only 3 people in the gallery. We were in there for roughly 30 minutes, with nobody approaching us about masks. Our group even maintained the "6 ft rule." We were polite and respectful of others. As we were leaving, a "gentleman" suddenly started being very rude, demanding us to leave immediately, due to lack of masks. We only knew he worked there because he mentioned the phrase, "... our store." I apologized and calmly stated the confusion with the sign. He interjected harshly and, raising his voice more and taking an aggressive posture, told us to leave immediately. Honestly, I smiled at his sudden posing. I did not take kindly to his disrespectful nature toward my mother and my wife. As my wife, my mother, and I were leaving, he was glaring at me the whole time. If this person approached us in a respectful and courteous manner, this review would have been a better outcome. If he had asked us to put on masks or provided masks, we would have done so. As an artist, I would not display my works here, knowing how rude this staff member is to customers... especially to ones who unintentionally cause "harm" and apologize for it. It isn't wise to judge without sound evidence or proof of malice. As a customer, I would not come back due to his threatening nature toward others, including women. Granted, I do not know if there was an issue before we arrived, but we were not privy to that knowledge. All I know is that this individual needs some customer...
Read moreI brought in a bracelet for repair after it broke just a few months into wearing it. The staff initially promised to send it to the maker for repair, but then I heard nothing from them for several months. When I finally reached out for an update on the status, they informed me that it had never been sent to the maker and they could not offer a repair. The employee rudely implied it was due to wear and tear since they had the same bracelet without issues. It's disheartening to invest so much in a piece only to have it break without any compensation or...

It reminds us of the beautiful design shops we visited on a recent trip to Denmark. We stop by frequently to see what has been added to their collection as they are always on the lookout for unique and beautiful items to share with...
