I don't usually leave reviews, but this place deserves accolades!!! I love getting my quality shoes and socks here and have done so for years!! Dansko's and compression socks for work, Balega socks for outdoor activities, Hoka hiking boots, and even lovely, leather European sandals comfortable for walking yet stylish enough to wear with a summer dress (along with the fun Goodr sunglasses I got from them too)! Not only that, most of these things were on sale when I bought them because they have sales frequently. For instance, I walked in yesterday and not only we're they having a sale on what I was looking for AND all the staff were in fun costumes for Small Business Saturday, but I also got to play a game while checking out that ended with me winning a gift card that covered almost my whole purchase I was making for family members (this is a great place for sucking suffers too)! PLUS, they have other things that are wonderful like electrolyte pills for my summer hikes, Goodr sunglasses, running accessories like the magnetic flashing reflectors I just bought from them, a bunch of Naked Bee products (including coconut honey chapstick, one of my favorites that sometimes is hard to find) just because a customer said she loved them and couldn't find them in the past... so they have been getting them ever since. They are the quintessential, high quality, at a great value foot needs store plus more that should be everybody's local go to for these kinds of items, AND the ladies who work there and the owner are so friendly and helpful. First let me say that Lana, the owner, is great!! I have a foot issue that causes extreme pain while wearing shoes. My daughter recommend Skagit Running Co because she had purchased a pair of running shoes and was extremely happy. Lana spent at least an hour with me trying to fit me in a sneaker/walking shoe that would lessen the pain from 3 unsuccessful foot surgeries with each one causing more permanent pain. She asked questions, watched how I walked in the sneakers she thought may work and was very patient!! After trying on a half dozen pair we found a pair that truly fit well. Lana laced the right shoe for me in a way that would not cause pressure pain at the top of my foot down to my big toe and the one next to it. The moment I purchased them I knew it was the right decision. I wore the sneakers for 7 hours without a twinge of pain!! I can now walk 3 miles and not be in pain and limping the rest of the day. My story: Came in here with my daughter, who has decided to try Cross Country at her HS, and was greeted quickly. I explained our situation and was quickly and professionally addressed. My daughter's feet were measured and our representative went in back and came out with about 6-7 pairs of shoes to try. They encouraged my daughter to run in the store to get a better feel for the shoes. Our salesperson helped by giving suggestions on how to narrow down the selection to what ended up being her choice of shoe.

Bottom line: Unparalleled Customer Service!! The staff was personable and professional. They were extremely knowledgeable and not pushy. They were able to engage both me and my daughter. I didn't know customer service like this still exists! Get your next pair of running...
