Beware Home Depot starting to do FRADULENT charges!!! They stole money from me and refuse to give it back.
6/13 So today after contacting Home Depot several times they told me that Samsung is the one that needs to refund my money for the washer and dryer. I was laughing so hard. Samsung? I payed Home Depot not Samsung. They refuse to refund my money so at this point it is FRAUD! Its been almost a month now and no washer and dryer and now they wont give me money back. That's ok, I contacted my Credit Card company and reported fraud on my account and they will resolve it for me.
6/6 Terrible, terrible and such a terrible experience. Placed an order from the store on May 20th for washer and dryer with a delivery schedule for Friday May 27th. Without any notice they bumped my delivery window to May 25th, the day no one was there to accept the delivery. Despite their mistake I was understanding and reschedule my delivery for Saturday May 28th (the only day they had available) also the day of my sister's funeral. I was going to have my neighbor accept the delivery. May 28th came and went. Called them they Saud they a system glitch and that they can have the delivery scheduled for June 3rd and they promised to deliver that day and compensate me for the trouble. Today is June 3rd and no delivery is expected. Talk to Home Depot Management and they told me they were sorry and they couldn't do anything. Being very frustrated and powerless I canceled my order today and Placed with Lowes. My expected Delivery date from Lowes is tomorrow June 4th. The lesson that I learned here is that Home Depot won't go out of their way to help you out and compensate you for their mistakes. They don't care about your businesses or customer service. Please let this be a warning to all the paying customers and maybe consider going somewhere else with your money. I have spent thousands of dollars with them and my company uses them for our jobs. They lost a loyal customer and will be losing my companies business which is in the millions of dollars. Thank you Home Depot for your help I am so glad you support your Veterans on Memorial Day or any day in fact. (Sarcasm to the...
Read moreOn January 11, 2021, I placed an order to purchase and install a hot water heater with the Home Depot. They sent ARS, Rescue Rooter, RighTime, whatever name they decide to call themselves, to install it. The price of the water heater was $800, install was $1500. Way too much for a 3hr job. They told me they would be at my house at 8:00am, but didnât show up until 1:30pm. They were finished at 4:30pm. Two days later I noticed a water leak in my house and called a reputable plumber. When he arrived I told him that I had a water leak and the water heater was just replaced. He informed me that I needed to call Home Depot because it was installed incorrectly; using galvanized steel pipes between the water heater and expansion tank causes corrosion and shortens the life of the water heater. I then made a complaint to Home Depot and they said I needed to contact the install company, ARS.
During a phone conversation with the ARS General Manager. I told them that I wanted a refund or they could come back and remove the water heater. They said that they don't do removals or refunds and that I would have to contact Home Depot. They did say that they would come out and fix their mistakes on the incorrect install and that the galvanized steel pipes should not have been used. He admitted that this was wrong and should not have been done. He also informed me that the installer failed to mount the expansion tank to the wall, which is required according to California Builders code. ARS sent out a different installer, who was 30 minutes late and took 1.5 hrs to fix the mistake.
Home Depot says the install is backed by their customer satisfaction guarantee. "Remember both your unit and the installed labor are backed by our satisfaction guarantee. If you have any issues within the first year."
If The Home Depot had higher standards, they would not be doing business with ARS/Rescue Rooter/RighTime. This company has a lot of poor reviews and should not be affiliated with The Home Depot. Make things better, put your customers first, stop affiliating with poor performing companies like ARS/Rescue...
Read moreMy husband is a contractor & travels a lot, I'm always going to several Home Depots and by far this is the WORST home depot, it doesn't even deserve 1 star. The first time I came I needed to buy a generator; I went to the register to purchase it & I asked the lady if she could have someone meet me there to help me put it on a cart and help me load it onto my car. Well I waited for 20 mins, standing by the generator like an idiot... no one came, there were no workers around, and when I asked 1 worker I saw he just ignored me & explained he was busy & couldn't help me. I would've dragged it to the car if I could but it was too heavy for me. Workers are supposed to be there to help you, not ignore you. It wasn't until I got extremely upset that someone finally listened. So ok I thought afterwards maybe i came on a very busy day or they were short staffed. I thought I would give them a second chance. I just came today to get a color match on a paint that I needed. Well I waited 10/15 mins at the paint desk for someone to show up. Then the guy who helped me(Joshua) had no idea what he was doing. Not only did he get the wrong gallon of paint, good thing another guy opened it to check, the color match was absolutely incorrect. So the other guy finally did the color match correctly. Then when I went to the customer service desk to do a phone sale, the lady was unable to do it. After 35 mins of trying she realized her system was down. I wasted over an hour at the store over something that had to be as simple as getting the color match, paying it & going back home. Not only are the workers incompetent, they lack customer service skills, they are unorganized, and are always short on staff. This is the last time I am coming back here!! Avoid coming here, unless you want to walk out in a...
