Backstage Mirror Maze — Attraction in Myrtle Beach

My friends and I went for the escape room and we’re super excited until we realized we were paired with children. 2 of the children were way too young to be playing the game and complained most of the time during. We tried to be good sports as we did pay good money for it, but overall we were disappointed in our experience. I had reached out by email afterwards but got no response or the email address was “not found” and wouldn’t go through. Finally I called and was told they don’t do refunds only credits toward another game. I did not want a credit because I do not live in the area and I was told there was nothing they could do otherwise. If you still choose to go I recommend bringing a party of 8 people or getting a private booking where you don’t have to play...

NOT WORTH IT. GO TO RIPLEY’S MIRROR MAZE INSTEAD.

Too many people let inside so it was a train of people following each other and at the end it says “congratulations you made it to the end, head back to the start” and you head back to where you came from and there’s a separate way to the exit side at the beginning. Being pregnant myself, there was too many people to be worrying about someone or someone’s child bumping into me or my family.

We paid $15 (came out to $75) a person and the blonde lady who took our money didn’t give us our change back.

On our way out, we voiced our concerns and they just said that we can come back another day.

NOBODY wants to come back to rude employees and a packed mirror maze.

I’ve played their Atlantis room and it was a lot of fun, however I played their Hyde room and did not have a great time. I’ve played over 160 escape rooms so I know what works and what doesn’t and too many of their puzzles were really reaching for their solution. Too add to that we were treated with a decent amount of attitude from our game master throughout the game which also didn’t not make the experience enjoyable. They had some cool effects and I did enjoy their Atlantis room which is the only reason I’m giving more than 1 star on this review however, there definitely needs to be a change to some of the puzzles and some of the staffing throughout...
